The owners of this home are both Landscape Architects so you will have views of their lovely growing fields and their creation of Stonehedge, a replica of what Stonehenge looked like out of plants! Conveniently located close to historic plantations, Tunica Falls, Jackson and St. Francisville. Both towns offer great restaurants and shopping. This beautiful place is 30 minutes from Baton Rouge, 90 minutes from New Orleans, and minutes from local attractions and things to do. Pets are welcome for a fee.

It is a great place to enjoy a romantic weekend, or a vacation with the kids and your pets for outdoor adventures which include hiking or biking the many trails and ravines, or capturing images of birds and other wildlife with your camera. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen for gourmet cooking and dining on the front porch.

Whether you're looking for solitude, adventure, or a digital detox, this retreat delivers. There is no shooting or ATV’s allowed on the property. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLES ON THE TRAILS EITHER!

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Sports cars do not fare well here. Please note that the address listed on Airbnb is not our location. I will email you directions.

Enjoy a peaceful and quiet experience in this cozy 3 bedroom home located minutes from the LA-MS state line. This peaceful space is 3 to 4 minutes west from I-55, and 15 to 20 minutes south of McComb, MS, and just minutes from the Lynyrd Skynyrd memorial. Enjoy your favorite beverage on the back deck overlooking a large open yard, nectar feeding humming birds, and beautiful forestry. For an extra fee, store your boat, or ATV inside the 20x30 metal building located on the property.

Birdsong

This cozy and well-appointed cabin is perfect for bird watchers, writers, or those looking to experience the serenity of the woods. The first floor has a large living/dining area with a sofa, dining table, modern, fully furnished kitchen and full bathroom. There’s a double size air mattress available upstairs. The downstairs contains a bedroom with queen sized bed and full bathroom. The cabin is 8 miles north of downtown St. Francisville and close to shopping, hiking and dining.

B and K Cabin Kid and Pet friendly

Our cabin is located on a secondary road behind a locked gate nestled in the forest on six acres of property surrounded by pine and hardwood. Beautiful Brushy Creek is steps away from the porch. The Homochitto National Forest is minutes away. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking or bird watching in the quiet while watching wildlife. We also have games & TV/DVD player hookup only. Take a day or afternoon & go looking for arrowheads, fossils & other treasures like gold rocks.

3V Tourist Courts @ Magnolia Cafe

Cabins are prewar 1940's motor court with covered parking. Each cabin features, queen bed, TV, WiFi, small bathroom with small shower, original lavatory & fixtures in bathroom. Small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Air conditioners and electric space heaters. Restaurant (Magnolia Cafe) hours are Tuesday through Sunday 10-3 and Coffee Shop ( Birdman ) on site. Come enjoy history with modern amenities and explore the beautiful plantations homes in our area.

Secluded cabin in the woods-Tinmann Retreat

My place is close to Okissa Lake, Clearsprings Recreational area, city of Natchez, and the Natchez Trace.. it is only 2 1/2 hours from New Orleans, or less than 2 hours from Baton Rouge. You’ll love our place because the property is located in the middle of the Homochitto National Forest. It is secluded and quiet. No plane, train, or automobile noise.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
