The Barn is often sat above the cloud creating an amazing cloud inversion around us. Situated just 3 miles out of the National Park you are close enough to be there in minutes but also enjoy the relaxing setting in Ellonby afterwards avoiding any hustle and bustle of tourism

Beautiful folly cottage overlooking Lakeland fells

A spacious and beautifully converted cottage set within the grand surroundings of an old folly dating back to the 1700s. It is a peaceful, rural setting in striking distance of the Lake District, the Eden Valley and the Yorkshire Dales. The cottage is less than 1 mile from the delightful village of Greystoke and about a 10 min drive from the M6/A66/A6. The cottage is great for families, couples, solo or business travellers. Pets are very welcome.

The Hayloft (on the doorstep of The Lake District)

The village has a pub & a small shop. A 5 minute drive from the historic market town of Penrith which has a selection of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants & amenities. Easy access to the A66 for Keswick. Very convenient to get to from the M6 motorway (junction 41).
