Location, location, location. A peaceful paradise with stunning views of beautiful lake Taupo and Mount Tauhara. A treasured home with a very warm and welcoming vibe - lots of unique features. The location is brilliant, overlooking Acacia Bay’s popular swimming and kayaking bay. Walk to the water in two minutes. The boat ramp is a short two min drive and we are seven minutes by car to Taupo township. The perfect spot for your next break. The views are amazing! A special Kiwi experience!

Calida's Cosy Cottage

A 5mins drive from town or the lake or a 15mins walk to either. The entire home and garden are yours to enjoy. If cosy, private, quiet and a 'Home Away From Home' are what you are looking for, this small, 2-bedroom gem is it. Suitable for a maximum of two adults, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen, 2 comfy queen beds, Smart TV, bose speaker, sun deck, coffee machine and a roaring fire each evening. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles. Rear entrance is covered so you and your gear remain dry.

Newly decorated, studio unit, situated close to Taupo town, walking distance to shops & restaurants. Fully fenced, with off street parking. A lockable space for 2 pushbikes. Private & self-contained, our studio is cozy when you want to stay in, and easy to come back to when you've been out sightseeing or at the Lake or hot pools. The heat pump & double glazed windows will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. There's everything you need here for a great stay in our lovely town.

Situated down a quiet cul de sac in the Bird Area suburb of Taupo. Cosy, downstairs 1 bedroom guest suite with seperate bathroom, kitchenette (see extra note in the space) and private outside courtyard. Centrally located and only a 5 min gentle walk to the lake front and a further 15 mins to the town centre. Parking on shared driveway. Seperate access and entrance from the main house. Myself and my 2 young sons live upstairs so you may occasionally hear some noise (see details in the space)e

Take it easy at this unique, tranquil getaway. High up in the sky with vista's back to the lake, and viewing areas on property to see Mt Ruapehu. Private entrance to ground floor guest wing. All new & modern. Room to move in your own lounge, bedroom, ensuite with large walk-in tiled shower, walk in robe. Kitchenette (no cooking), with microwave, fridge, continental breakfast. Guest patio, built in seating captures afternoon sun. Approx 10 mins from Taupo. Experience something different.

Huna Atu (hidden away)

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful, spacious studio room with queen bed and en-suite. Sit on your private deck and listen for the native Tui that love the large "strawberry" trees, and watch the playful Piwakawaka (fantail) flitting from tree to tree. Enjoy a short walk to the beautiful clear waters of the lake, or the popular local bar/restaurant for some refreshments. There is a local (free) tennis court for a game of tennis or pickleball (racquets and paddles available on request)

Be surprised by this tranquil, private and fully self contained downstairs guest suite, all on one level. Situated close to the town centre, lake front, hospital and within easy commute to the Taupo motorsport park. Set in a forest like garden and on the boarder of an attractive reserve you can enjoy your own sunny and secluded space waking up to the sound of the birds. Take a 5min stroll to our popular bar/restaurant or grab a takeaway and finish the evening with a soak in the hot pool.

An Exceptional “John Scott” an Architectural Dream

We would love to welcome you to our exceptional John Scott home/apartment (with radiators!). John Scott is one of NZ’s premier architects and is renowned for designing unique buildings. Our home doesn’t disappoint and we are excited to share it with the Air BnB community. A self contained wing of our home sits in a tranquil spot. A five minute drive or a stroll along the lakefront will get you into town. We’re a few minutes walk from the Botanical Gardens and the lakefront :-)

Lochside retreat

Located just a 5-minute walk to the lake in the heart of Kinloch Village. An inviting fireplace offers cozy warmth on chilly evenings. A King-sized bed with crisp linens and plush pillows awaits. Two Sliding doors open to a private deck (can be enclosed) with a kitchen (hotplate, pot, frypan, coffee machine, tea, and milk in a small fridge), fireplace, private bathroom, and a stunning view from the outdoor bath and shower (hot water). Note: We have bees in close proximity :)
