We are located in downtown Bryson City, approximately 2 hours west of affected areas. Welcome to the mountains! Newly restored cabin is all windows - light, bright, vaulted ceilings. Backs up to Nantahala National Forest yet short drive to Cashiers, Highlands and hiking. Full kitchen, open living space, large loft, forest view, oversized couch and TV (Roku), strong WiFi, two cozy bedrooms, completely new bathroom, nice sized shower. Take in views of the forest and BBQ on the front deck or enjoy the sound of the rain on the screened porch with a coffee. Large yard is all yours!

The Water Wheel • an A-Frame in the NC Mountains

The Water Wheel is our place to unplug and detox from the hustle and bustle of life. When we are not here enjoying this space we want to share it with you. Imagine yourself lounging by our fire pit with a local brew or taking in the mountain views from the hot tub then creating an amazing meal. Detox in our cedar sauna after a long hike. Or if you are exploring the area then it is the perfect home base for adventures in the mountains or to Asheville for breweries, dining or shopping.

Unique Waterfall Cabin

This cabin-like home is nestled on a hill beside a 250 foot waterfall. As the water cascades to the bottom it turns into a creek that wraps around the property. The waterfall and can be enjoyed from almost every room. The elevation is at 3800 ft providing perfect temperatures for most of the summer, hence, no air conditioning. There is a fully stocked, renovated kitchen and washer/dryer upstairs. The house is located 15 minutes from Cashiers which has restaurants and groceries.

Turn right onto Route 64 and travel 20 minutes to the town of Highlands, NC to explore Main Street and its' shopping and restaurant experiences.

Welcome to Lazy Moss Cabin in Western North Carolina, you can see more if you go to You Tube and search for the name Lazy Moss cabin. Situated among the lush mountain laurel, native rhododendron and moss covered yard at a cool elevation of 3500 feet. We area a pet friendly rental with a limit of 2 pets per visit but NO pet fee because we have found that pet owners are very considerate of our cute cabin so thank you and enjoy your stay.
