Historic canal house in the middle of De Jordaan!

Welcome to Morningstar! Located right in the heart of Amsterdam. We can cater up to 4 persons in the apartment, which is part of our canal house, with a master bedroom (kingsize bed) and a sleeping sofa in the living room. We welcome guests that are looking for a unique stay in a historic canal house. We like to give families with (little) children a family experience in our apartment, a vibrant place in a picturesque Dutch canal house, overlooking the Westerkerk and Anne Frank House.

You’ll have your own private Garden Terrace with a Sauna, along with the comforts of the well thought out studio space, all in a historic home that feels like Amsterdam!  There's great rooftop views to enjoy, a plush bed, kitchenette and lounging spaces indoors and out.  It's an easy walk to the city's top attractions and there are plenty of restaurants on the doorstep.

Very comfortable Houseboat, mahony wooden walls, art nouveau style, with terras on very central location overvieuwing the river. After a break of 4 coronayears, we are back into bussiness. In that 4 years we took the chance to renew our bathroom, renew our steering wheel cabin, a lot of painting on the deck, 3 new roofdeck ligts, and some technical adjustments you cannot see, but will make your stay more comfortable. there is centtral heating and airco for hot summer days.

The house is located on one of Amsterdam's most wide and beautiful canals. Chinatown, Nieuwmarkt Square and The Red Light District are around the corner, yet the street is peaceful and quiet. A very attractive basis for a short or longer visit to Amsterdam.

This authentic cozy studio apartment is part of a charming 17th-century canal house in the heart of Amsterdam! It also has its own entrance on the lowest floor. We prefer hosting non-cannabis smoking guests. Please note that the oven/microwave and the clothingdryer are located in the other part of the house. We live in the other part of the house and are available to help or inform you.
