This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

I always believe that a photo can say more than words. This time I was wrong. The location is very good in all respects, but the hosts are also wonderful people. Thank you and I hope to come back soon. Florin

Afgelopen weekend hebben wij enorm genoten van ons verblijf in de Rakhorst. De villa was precies zoals omschreven in de advertentie en voldeed volledig aan onze verwachtingen. Het mooie weer maakte het mogelijk om optimaal gebruik te maken van de tuin, wat een extra pluspunt was. Binnen was alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt voor een ontspannen weekendje weg. De bedden lagen heerlijk en zorgden voor een goede nachtrust. Pien was ontzettend gastvrij en nam bij aankomst de tijd om ons persoonlijk welkom te heten met handige instructies. Zeker een aanrader!

Het was geweldig. Alles even netjes, schoon en van goede kwaliteit. Bijzonder prettige sfeer. Wij voelden ons allemaal heel snel thuis. Ook heel prettig de voorzieningen van het hotel nabij. De omgeving is prachtig. Heerlijke wandelingen gemaakt. Wij waren met 6 volwassenen en een baby en hebben allemaal ontzettend genoten. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Wir haben einen schönen Familien Urlaub in Wyik aan Zee gehabt. Schöner Strand zum spazieren gehen. Ein Ausflug nach Haarlem und Amsterdam standen auch auf dem Programm. Sehr zu empfehlen. Alles in allem wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had the absolute best time staying at Nicolette’s beautiful home! She was so wonderful and made sure that we had everything we needed. The location is beautiful situated with the best river view and the town of Maarssen is just a few minutes down the road. We would highly recommend that anyone visiting this area should stay here! Nicolette is very kind and is a wonderful and attentive host!!!!

Wat een heerlijk verblijf hebben wij gehad in dit knusse huisje in Apeldoorn! Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, voelden we ons direct thuis. Het huisje was brandschoon en gezellig en knus ingericht. Ook de buitenruimte was een groot pluspunt. Het terras was sfeervol aangekleed met genoeg zit hoekjes, gezellige lichtjes en een heerlijk warme jacuzzi die al klaarstond bij aankomst. Wat een luxe om daar na een dagje fietsen in de Veluwe te kunnen ontspannen! Ook stond er een knus tuinhuisje met een heater, waar je nog lekker kon zitten. Een fijne plek om even tot rust te komen. De host was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We ontvingen een duidelijke brochure over het huisje waar alle informatie in staat, inclusief wat tips om te doen in de omgeving. Na een berichtje te hebben gestuurd over welke restaurants hij zou aan raden gelijk antwoord gekregen en hebben we één van zijn aanbevelingen opgevolgd en het was inderdaad lekker eten daar (op nog geen 5 min lopen) Top verblijf!!

Die Unterkunft war ruhig gelegen. Das Häuschen war sehr sauber und nett eingerichtet. Man hat sich somit gleich wohlgefühlt. Victor und seine Frau waren sehr freundlich und immer ansprechbar. Die Unterkunft kann man uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es gibt unweit vieles schönes zu erkunden, wie z. B. den Ortskern von Edam oder die Promenade von Volendam. Nach Amsterdam unbedingt mit dem Bus fahren. Super einfach und man ist ganz schnell im Stadtzentrum.

I can't recommend Martijn and Lucy's place enough. The apartment itself was extremely well furnished and thought out, including a well stocked kitchen, decent shower and plenty of towels provided. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable. There are several flights of stairs to reach the apartment at the top floor of the building, but these are well worth it for the benefit of a roof terrace. The location is great, with plenty of food options within a few mins walk (it's worth checking out the Foodhallen!) and an outdoor market on the street below. A tram line that can take you towards the central station is only a couple of mins away or it's an enjoyable walk to anywhere in Amsterdam. We had a great stay, thanks so much!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und konnten das Anwesen für schöne Spaziergänge und Wellness nutzen. Anfangs waren wir überrascht, dass die Schwiegermutter nebenan wohnt, aber dies hatte für uns gar keine Einschränkungen zur Folge. Die komplette Einrichtung ist gehobener Standard und es fehlte uns an nichts. Absolut ruhig und perfekt um den Alltag aus der Stadt zu entfliehen. Wir würden auf jeden wieder kommen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Le logement était conforme à la description, très propre, calme et bien situé. L’hôte a été très réactive et attentionnée, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Mariettas Haus liegt in dem schönen Städtchen Muiderberg, von wo aus wir drei Tage lang völlig unkompliziert nach Amsterdam gependelt sind. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, ist umgeben von alten Bäumen und vielen alleinstehenden Villen. Die Wohnung eingerichtet, es gab kleine Begrüßungsgeschenke wie Pralinen, Käse und Wein. Vielen Dank hierfür. Nach Besichtigungstagen in der Stadt haben wir die Abends in Muiderberg am Strand ausklingen lassen. Ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Die Unterkunft war super, sehr modern und sah aus, wie auf den Bildern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch der Pool war Klasse!

We had a lovely stay at Tijmen's spacious home which is ideally located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, yet still just a short walk to the museum campus, Vondelpark and several other sites. Tijmen was a wonderful host who provided very clear instructions and guidance on restaurants and sites in the area. The flat was clean and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed relaxing with wine and snacks in the sun on the rooftop deck. Like most flats in Amsterdam, you need to climb stairs to get to the flat (and the deck), but it is well worth it!

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans le airbnb de Max, un hôte très amical, disponible et arrangeant. Le logement était propre et surtout très bien équipé avec tout ce qu’il faut. Point très important : il est situé dans un quartier calme tout en étant à seulement 10min en bus d’Amsterdam Centraal. Bonus pour la terrasse très agréable ! Si nous devions revenir à Amsterdam, nous vendrions ici à nouveau !

Ich war mit meinem Partner ein verlängertes Wochenende da und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Jet ist supersüss und hat uns jeden Abend freundlich begrüsst, wenn wir zurückgekommen sind. Nach Amsterdam hat man ca. 40min mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Auch am Strand ist man sehr schnell mit dem Auto. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen wiederzukommen.

das kleine Häuschen ist einfach nur traumhaft. Wir haben uns so richtig entspannt. Wir hatten Frühstück und haben es sehr genossen von Barry verwöhnt zu werden. Immer wieder gerne ❤️

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything provided that we could need to cater for ourselves. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower was hot with good pressure. Nice private garden with fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. Neighbourhood was really quiet and peaceful, extremely green (it feels like you are in the woods) but close to plenty of amenities. Has a very family friendly vibe. Short walk to the shops/supermarket etc. and even closer to the woods/lakes etc. Lots of good outdoor routes to explore. Adva was great with some walking recommendations. 20-30 mins drive to Utrecht and Amsterdam so easy to dip in for a restaurant etc. although there are some good local restaurants which Adva can also fill you in on. Adva in general was a brilliant host, responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Kid loved it, dog loved it, adults loved it, would highly recommend!

Charmant petit chalet en pleine campagne. Idéal pour un séjour en famille ! Nous recommandons.

ein super Wochenende gehabt

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

Das Häuschen ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und vermittelt Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre. Die Kommunikation lief super, so nette Gastgeber. Mit dem Hund kann man direkt loslaufen und auch viele schöne Strecken in der Nähe erreicht man mit dem Auto. Wir waren noch mit dem Zug in Utrecht, auch super easy zu erreichen. Alles sehr empfehlenswert!

We hebben een prima verblijf gehad bij Nico en Danielle. Het zijn heel aardige verhuurders die snel reageren op alle vragen. Zelfs een smart tv werd op ons verzoek geregeld. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en erg sfeervol ingericht. Prima badkamer en bed. Het huisje ligt in hun achtertuin, maar dat merk je nauwelijks omdat het helemaal afgesloten ligt van het hoofdhuis. De omgeving is met Hoorn en Enkhuizen de moeite waard. Kortom: een fijne week gehad!

Das Sommerhaus von Bori und Marchello als "Unterkunft für Naturliebhaber" macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Umgeben von Natur, Wasser und Enten haben wir einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Blockhütte gehabt und konnten hier sehr gut entspannen und die Ruhe genießen. Check-In und Check-Out waren einfach und die Unterkunft an sich war super schön. Ein eigener Parkplatz, ein Grill und eine Terrasse am Wasser stehen dort zur Verfügung. Die Ausstattung war für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt ausreichend. Fahrräder, Ruderboote und eine Tischtennisplatte konnten kostenlos genutzt werden, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft für Naturliebhaber sehr zu empfehlen.
