In a quiet corner of the charming Village of Hayfield, Gem Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the Peak District of Derbyshire. Features: Spacious living room, with Log burner, Large T.V. Kitchen, Seats 6, with Oven/Hob, washing machine and Dishwasher. Master bedroom, 4 poster bed (King), adjacent bathroom (shower+bath) 2nd bedroom, with 2 bunk beds Loft bedroom, double bed, En Suite with shower/bath. Outdoor seating is available to the front , steps to the terraced garden to the rear.

Well equipped kitchen with Aga, comfortable sitting room and dining room, 2 king sized bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, 1 twin, 3 ensuites and 1 family bathroom. Outside is a terrace, garden and fire pit. The local town of Chapel -en-le-Frith and the surrounding villages of Hayfield and Chinley plus supermarkets are a short drive.

Our lovely little cottage is about 200 years old. It's cosy and slap bang in the middle of some of the best scenery the UK has to offer. Excellent for walking, cycling or simply site seeing the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District National Park. Castleton is such a pretty little town with it's own castle, 7 watering holes (all dog friendly) fabulous restaurants and delightful cafes. We are situated between Bakewell and Buxton. The Snake Path to Kinder starts beside the cottage while the village provides a handy range of shops and great pubs, cafes and restaurants for eating out.

Our warm and cosy, three bedroom stone cottage offers an excellent base for those who want to explore the stunning walks of the Peak District or enjoy the quiet of village life. Set in the High Peak within the Peak District, Hayfield is your quintessential Derbyshire village with its four pubs, restaurant and coffee shops. The River Sett meanders from the reservoir at the foot of Kinder Scout, through the village passing the cricket pitch, church and village hall.

We invite you to have a restful break at our cosy and well-equipped cottage, situated on a quiet back street in the centre of New Mills. A minute's walk from cafes, restaurants, pubs and a great chippy, as well as a short walk from Torrs Riverside Park and the Sett Valley trail, which leads you further into the Peak District towards Kinder Scout. The cottage is perfect as a base for walkers, runners and families looking for a relaxing break in nature.
