The cottage was absolutely lovely, cosy and welcoming, everything you needed, home from home. I wanted to get away from it all and this property certainly provided me with a great location to explore the coast, lovely walks with my dog and was so quiet, it was heaven. If you want to hear real stillness and nature at its best, this is the place for you. The Bed was really comfy with good showering facilities, couldn’t fault it. Simon and Jo very helpful and friendly, introduced themselves to me. I will be back soon. I was just wondering if What three words would help re location as I did struggle with locating the property. A great place to stay,in an ideal and convenient location. Thought the key situation would be a bit complicated but because the instructions were so clear, that it was quite simple. The apartment was spotless, the equipment was good and easy to use. Furnishings were very good and comfortable. Beds very comfortable and heating system very easy to use. Everything had a very spacious and welcoming feel to it. We would definitely use this apartment again. We had a very enjoyable experience.

An enjoyable one night stay for a friend's celebration. The apartment is perfectly located for all Yarm has to offer, and just a short walk to the high street. Everything was as the description, and extremely comfortable. Ollie had thoughtfully left milk in the fridge (both plant based and normal), and there was tea and coffee available. Ollie was available to meet me when I arrived and left, he was an excellent host and responded very quickly when I contacted him the day before arriving. I would recommend the apartment and would very happily stay again.

I rarely ever write reviews but this one was too amazing not to. Everything from the small details for my sister's birthday to the place blew us away. It's like a small paradise & completely unique. Very private & peaceful! I 100% would return, you will not regret booking this gem of a place. Thank you the most amazing hosts for being so kind & thoughtful!

Lovely modern apartment with good facilities. Comfy beds and nice to have 2 bathrooms. We found the walk into town a bit too much so used taxis which were very reasonably priced. Ate at Little Sicily one night, following a review seen on Airbnb. Good food, very reasonable. Ate at Uno Momento in town also, which we highly recommend. Thank you for the wine that greeted us upon arrival!

Lovely cosy apartment within easy walking distance from the city but in a quiet neighbourhood. Stayed for a couple of nights while visiting the Uni and it was perfect for what we needed. Comfy beds, good showers and everything we needed in the kitchen. Would recommend and would stay again.

Clean and well maintained property. It was such a quiet neighborhood, we almost felt we were the only ones around. Walk to the beach or to town was easy. Instructions from Cate were clear and prompt. We LOVED the instruction booklet provided on how to use everything including appliances and fireplace. Would suggest an additional note about how to lock the door :) as I had a bit of trouble at first before figuring it out. The only odd thing about this place is the main level bathroom, in particular the shower, it's not separate so water goes everywhere when using it, so we used the upstairs shower exclusively.

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

We stayed at the house as an extended family for 4 nights for our daughters wedding in the area. It's an absolutely beautiful place and perfect for holidays , celebrations , gatherings or a base for an extended stay. The house is great, the garden amazing , outside space to socialise and eat is super and it's peaceful with beautiful views. We will hopefully come back again it's an absolute gold gem!

We were staying up there for my Sons wedding , then we stayed on a little over Christmas to see the children . The Ubers are amazing and I just downloaded the app ‘Uber eats ‘ as well and they can do a shop for you from the Coop ,Sainsbury’s and Tesco and more . Uber travel was very good and reasonable . Area of house is great for Newcastle , Durham or Bernard castle area . Rooms are a good size , beds comfortable. Walking for elderly parents was nice and they increased their fitness immensely , as the fresh air has helped them along with the trips to the countryside which is all around . Very Clean throughout . Comfy sofa and large chair. Great for a family . Garden is enclosed and very safe . Rachel has been a very kind host , and fast to respond to any querys , I would recommend the area and the home , the locals are friendly and there’s a Tesco express which has a bit of everything , in walking distance . Warm and welcoming, banister on stairs plenty of cupboards . A*

Had a fantastic stay here. A family of 4 (2 teen boys), my brother in law and 2 dogs. Great location - an easy walk into town and very quiet too. The host was super helpful and friendly. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The beds in particular were extremely comfortable - lovely fresh, clean and crisp white linen. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Whitby.

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

Was originally hoping to stay for more than one night but fully booked up around the time of our visit.But fortunately we did get the chance to stay. It’s a lovely house with a cosy living room, large kitchen and a super bedroom with a nice comfy bed. Central heating was easy to function if needed. The area is lovely with plenty of places within walking distance to buy food, Even my favourite M&S Foodhall less than 10mins walk.Parking available right outside the property or close by. Would recommend to anyone.Good communication from Hosts.

The apartment was very well placed, clean & tidy. Beautiful kitchen & large tv. Felt at home straight away. Whitby was so busy we couldn't use the W parking zone. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, would definitely use again. Plenty of amenities nearby, breakfast next door is recommended. Brilliant holiday.

This is a great place to stay, right on the marina walking distance from many good restaurants and a great place to just take a stroll. Graham was always there to answer questions before we arrived. Everything in the Condo is well marked, he has all of the user manuals for all of the appliances and such. Notes conveniently placed so that you understand what is going on and how things work. We stayed for a whole month and was well worth the money for the stay. Would definitely stay in this condo again.

A fabulous few nights at Chris's place, set right on the river in Durham. Beautiful apartment - all we could have wanted & more. Furnished & finished to really high standards - and the welcome treats were the icing on the cake. Everything in the city absolutely walkable. A genuinely lovely place to stay.

Great location, good base for exploring area, trains, buses etc. Flat had all I needed, wanted for nothing, comfortable, warm. Overall peaceful but near lots of pubs, bar, market etc

Great apartment for me and my family's bank holiday weekend stay. I was there for the 5-Dales sportive. the apartment was very spacious, had great decor, clean and set in beautiful surroundings. Would be staying there again if we are in the area.

Fantastic little place. Great to have a parking space. Easy 10 minute walk to town. Comfy sofa and bed.

Lee was fantastic at helping with my queries. The location was spot on for where I needed to be. Would stay again for sure.
