Rocking Stone Cottage - Idyllic Rural Retreat

Perfect for two couples or a family an immaculate contemporary cottage in the Peak National Park, a stones throw from Chatsworth. A perfect spot to get away, relax and explore the stunning countryside right from the door. The cottage features beautiful outdoor spaces, a large stone fireplace with woodburning stove, wooden shutters, exposed beams, a fully fitted hand made kitchen, walk in rain showers and romantic roll top bath. BBQ on one of the two terraces or just relax and take in the view.

Cosy Cottage close to Tissington Trail

Our cottage is small and sweet and we love it. There is a sitting room with a cosy real fire and a smart TV so you can log into your favourite sites (Amazon Prime/Netflix/Disney etc.) There's a variety of board games too if you want to reduce your screen time. The kitchen has all the usual things - cooker, fridge and freezer, dishwasher and a new washing machine and slow cooker. There are 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and the other room has twin beds. The bathroom is downstairs.

The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Parsons Barn is over 300 years old and stands at the entrance to the village of Hartington in the beautiful White peak in the Peak District National Park . The cottage has a private and safe south facing fully enclosed garden with BBQ and outdoor garden furniture. Hartington itself is a popular pretty village boasting some 3 pubs 3 cafes, post office , Deli Stores and News agents and of course our very own famous Cheese shop not to missed Walking and cycling can be done from the front door
