Bambu Cottage

Beautiful, newly restored Fisherman’s Cottage. Set in the oldest road in Newquay, 500m above the beaches and harbour. Bambu Cottage is nestled in a private road with no through traffic,creating a peaceful haven yet admidst the trendy bars, restaurants and shops and all Newquay has to offer. Perfect for families, surfers or a romantic break. A few minutes stroll down the slope to the beaches or a 5 min walk to the world famous surfing beach at Fistral. The designers have created a Boho Beach Theme throughout with every attention to detail creating a luxurious calm ambience. Bambu offers comfort and cosiness with wood burning stove for colder nights, WiFi, Netflix, Prime video and Amazon Echo. The bedrooms have super king and king sized beds and the wet room also contains a luxury free standing bath.

The ocean view speaks for itself 🌅. With two beaches a 3-minute walk (Porth & Lusty Glaze), and many more a little way further, you can leave the car on the drive. The South West Coast path is right here too (1-min walk), if you fancy stretching those legs! It's so quiet around here you'll forget you're a 15-minute walk from Newquay town centre, and only a 8-minute drive to Fistral Beach. It's a perfect spot for families & couples. We sleep up to 5 guests (and any four-legged family members).

Fistral Beach Escape - Sea Views and Sunny Nook

A cosy and quaint space, with everything you need for a beach break- panoramic views from front and back of the flat, a view over fistral beach to the rear, and across the town beaches to the front! Whether you’re curled up in bed or enjoying a cuppa in the front room, the views are stunning. There is on street parking to the front of the property, but it is a central location and spaces are limited. There is a council car park 30m up the hill from the flat, and a privately owned one opposite!

It’s a stones throw from Porth beach and the entrance to the legendary Porth Island, where locals and tourist alike gather with their cameras to capture that perfect sunset. Or borrow our Kayak’s for an evening paddle round the island. The Snug itself is set into the rising hillside giving it the cosy and private feel its name suggests. Well behaved dogs are welcome but please let us know when booking. There is parking for 1 car. 15 mins walk to town. Suitable for 2 adults plus 1 or 2 children.
