Known historically as the slate capital of the world, Blaenau Ffestiniog is in the heart of the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), surrounded by rugged mountains, lakes and hiking and biking trails. Snowdonia: Charming Converted Chapel

Plas Hafan is a beautifully converted chapel, dating back to 1870, nestling in an idyllic, secluded farming community in the Lledr valley. This fabulously located, spacious holiday home has magnificent views from every window. With beds for 8 people in the main house & 4 in the annex it is perfect for three families or a group of friends. The 2 bathrooms in the main house are clean & modern. The kitchen is well equipped. The annex (small additional cost) has a bunk bedroom & shower room upstairs, downstairs living room with sofabed & kitchenette. Blaenau Ffestiniog was designated a UNESCO world heritage site in August 2021.

Cae Canol Bach provides a lovely romantic get away. Situated on the lower slopes of the Manod mountain you will be surrounded by spectacular views of the valleys flowing towards the sea. This cosy hideaway offers a galleried mezzanine bedroom above an open plan spacious living area with wood burning stove, kitchen and shower room. We allow up to 3 well behaved pets who are NOT tempted by sheep. A 4x4 is required between October and April and recommended between April and October.
