Unique Balinese inspired treehouse overlooking a seasonal river, butterfly garden and tropical fruit orchard. Built with locally sourced lumber that was mostly milled on the property and complemented with keepsakes and carved wooden accents collected while exploring Indonesia and Thailand. This is a birder’s paradise with daily visits of scarlet macaws, parrots and toucans. Located a short drive from world class surfing , oceanfront restaurants and nightlife in playa Hermosa and playa Jaco.

The guest suite is on the ground floor with private entrance but is part of our home where your host family lives. The fenced garden and parking are shared with us.

We built Jumanji by hand as a quiet retreat for those who love nature and travel. It’s an artistic jungle home by a pristine beach — simple, warm, and alive. The property has two private houses that share open spaces: a patio, pool, outdoor kitchen, and sauna, creating a calm, natural rhythm. Mornings begin with local coffee and wildlife nearby. Days flow easily between the ocean and the jungle. Evenings are for slowing down, a tropical sauna, and a cool pool.
