I have wanted to stay at this chalet for several years but it is always booked as soon as months are released. When a slot came up around my birthday I didn’t hesitate to book it and I wasn’t disappointed with our stay. The chalet and the area was just perfect. The road down to the cove is quite narrow but once we were there we didn’t move the car until we left. The chalet was clean, warm and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed listening to the radio. The Sea Shanty beach cafe was only a short walk from the chalet and we enjoyed a cooked breakfast and fish and chips there which were both delicious. The beach wasn’t busy at anytime of the day and we had gorgeous weather which made the holiday. I would definitely recommend booking a stay here it’s a perfect place to get away from it all, just watching the waves rolling in

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! Lianne was a fabulous host, so friendly and responsive and gave so much helpful information. Absolutely recommend this place to stay - would love to come back some time!

Our stay was amazing! The house was spotless and we had a lovely time here! The coastal walk to Stackpole is great and a pint at Jack's was a very welcome reward at the end of the day! Would definitely recommend!

We chose Jo's place as it was close to Charmouth (11 mins) and Lyme Regis (14 mins by car). Our 6 year old son wanted to go fossil hunting. We arrived at Jo's cottage and she was there to greet us. She is very friendly and welcoming as well as her lovely dog Ruby. Jo also provided us with a travel cot and a changing mat for our 3 month old baby boy too, which was helpful. Jo provided us with a wheel barrow to carry our belongings to the Duck House as it was a little walk round the cottage. It's cosy and had all we needed. Our son liked the children's room he slept in and enjoyed the toys/games provided. My partner and my son did go in the swimming pool, however it was cold for our baby to go into. Jo did provide some bread, home made marmalade (that was lovely), butter, jam and milk. There was no hot water when we woke but when we contacted Jo she was straight on it and sorted it before we went out for the day. We enjoyed our stay - Thank you Jo.

So nice to unwind, listen to the birds and decompress. Exactly what was needed with our hectic lives and schedules. Loved the quiet location and that our dogs could walk around the golf course and woods. Only recommendation we would make is a little freshen up and updating in some areas, like sealant around the bath (which was great by the way after a long day!) Having milk when we arrived was well appreciated, if there was a complimentary starter pack of some small jams/butter and scones - I'd give you 5* here! But a great stay nonetheless. Really comfortable.

our second visit to this chalet. is a lovely peaceful location and just as described. everything needed is provided including bed linen, towels, toilet and kitchen roll. Bed is lovely and comfortable. if a peaceful, restful break is what you're after would definitely recommend 👌

Excellent place and great host. Everything was as described and shown in pictures. Andi was very informative about everything we needed to know and I wouldn't have hesitated to contact him if we needed any help with anything as he is really responsive but we was already given all the info we needed to get on with enjoying our stay. We had a fantastic long weekend in the chalet, it's a lovely place with plenty of space for our family and in a great location. We can't wait to go back.

Simply fabulous stay at this beautiful, quiet chalet. A spotless, dog friendly getaway with a relaxing, fully enclosed back garden. I do love having a choice of outdoor seating spaces to choose from especially if they've got pretty lights. Everything you need to make your stay special. Super comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, a lovely, lovely sunroom, awesome shower and less than a minutes walk to the sandy beach. The locally taken photographs added to the ambiance. If you're very lucky the lovely hosts will even book the sunshine and blue sky for you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the tranquil Chalet. The beds & pillows are so comfortable, fresh clean linen & towels. Kitchen well equipped. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you

Such a lovely relaxing girls weekend away. Oak Lodge was better than we expected. Spotless inside and perfect location with lovely views. Amazing space with complimentary robes and slippers which was a lovely surprise.

Really lovely stay at Colbury lodge, thank you Olya! The Lodge was perfect for a family with young children as was very safe and well equipped. The lodge was spotless and had a very homely feel. The hot tub was a great bonus too! Olya couldn’t have been a nicer host and very helpful with her local knowledge. A couple of small, cosmetic maintenance jobs would have made the lodge perfect but they didn’t effect us in any way. Overall would definitely recommend and would love to revisit!

Beautiful place to stay, with fantastic views of the bay. Easily walkable to the on site facilities, which were very good. Very well equipped property, with everything you need for a peaceful break away.

Joe was a great host and provided all information requested. Arrival was straightforward plenty of space. House was clean and welcoming. Photos need updating as property has been extended further. Shepherd hut in Garden was a great addition however it is cited at the bottom of a steep incline. The hot tub was a great addition and used well journey to the beach was about 15 minutes and parking was difficult but manageable. Shops et cetera were a short drive from the house. There were not many places to eat locally but plenty of takeaways if you needed them. A very enjoyable week in a lovely area about 30 minute drive to New Forest. Definitely worth considering.

Beautiful place on the lake with amazing views. The boys loved feeding the ducks and watching the water sports. Ben was really friendly and accommodating to our needs. Lovely property and the home entertainment system was great on the rainy days. Highly recommend. Thanks very much Ben

Fantastic stay at Tuftty Lodge. Such a lovely, large but cosy home and perfect for a Christmas getaway. Very responsive host and a beautiful area to explore. Thanks for everything Tracey, we will be back!

Beautiful lodge in a quiet location. Great communication from Andrew from the moment we booked. Although check-in isn't until 4 we got a message earlier to stay the lodge was ready which was great. The lodge had everything you could possibly need during your stay. The welcome pack, bathrobe and slippers add a luxury touch. The lodges are very well equipped for self catering should you wish to cook while you are there. Plenty of patio furniture and everywhere spotlessly clean. Could not recommend this place enough. We will definitely be returning in the future hopefully with family

what a place! incredible communication from the hosts and information on and around the place before going. Extremely happy with the fulfillment of the booking of what we expected and the standard of the ferny hoolet. I booked this as a surprise for my fiancé for our 10 year anniversary as she'd never been to the lake district which is close by as well which we experienced as well as the lovely ingleton waterfalls as well which be prepared for a walk. The hot tub at the ferny hoolet is clean and great for some night time relaxation with the surrounding sounds. The master bedroom bathroom has an incredible bath/shower which took a while to understand all the settings but then again I loved every minute in that spaceship of trying to understand and find different buttons. overall, an incredible stay and incredible communication and incredible location.

What a brilliant location. The lodge was all and more than we expected. The location of the lodge on site is excellent as there is very little passing footfall. Inside the lodge is well equipped and extremely comfortable. The outside decking area is large, overlooks the lake with comfortable chairs and table. Hopefully we will be back again soon.

We had a lovely stay at Rachael and Mike’s place. It’s remote and quiet and although our hosts were close by, we had privacy. The accommodation was clean and had most things we needed, including logs for the fire. Constructive feedback: a reading lamp would have been appreciated. The dogs are friendly, ditto the alpacas which can come right up to the house. If you intend to arrive late, bring all the essential food/milk that you need because there are no nearby shops and most close on Sunday.

thanks Janice. a lovely stay. loads of extras such as DVDs and books. a lovely and generous welcome pack. nice sized towels (and plenty of them) really well stocked kitchen with plenty of plates utensils, gin and prosecco glasses, could do with some more wine glasses but that's a really really minor issue. we would definitely book again if the needed something in the area.

I stayed at the lodge for a special family weekend and the facilities were fantastic for a stay close to Rudyard lake and its charming facilities, with clean, well equipped cabins and a relaxing hot tub too! Lovely view of trees and the meadow, and Dan and Mogs were such helpful and friendly hosts. Not accessible without a car, but once we were at the lodges we could easily walk to the attractions and hotel around Rudyard lake. Thanks so much! We’ll have great memories for a long time.
