Well-presented, comfortable and fully equipped cottage, centrally located on the historic Market Place of the beautiful village of Castleton. Enjoy some of Britain's best walks, including Mam Tor & the Great Ridge from the doorstep. With views of Peveril Castle the patio is a fantastic place to relax with a book, or simply watch the world go by. With own driveway (1 car) and shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants all located within a short walk, this is a great base from which to explore the Peaks.

Bridge Cottage, Castleton in the Peak District

Bridge Cottage is a stone built cottage situated a few metres from the Peakshole Water in the delightful village of Castleton, and is just a short walk to the centre of the village with many local pubs and shops. Centrally located in a beautiful part of the Peak District National Park, this is an ideal location for exploring on foot with lovely walks from the doorstep, riding a bike through the many quiet lanes and footpaths of the area, or visiting the show caves situated near the cottage.

The Old Post House is a period cottage dating back to the early 1600s in the heart of Edale village. Fully renovated, maintaining original oak beams, stone window surrounds, period fireplace. Restored to a very high standard. Two minutes from pub, cafe, shop and start of Pennine Way. Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, 2 with Superking or Twin, the 3rd is a double. 3 large bathrooms, Kitchen / Diner and separate cosy lounge with woodburner. Underfloor heating. Spectacular views of the surrounding hills.

Our location is a great base for exploring the High Peak, we are just on the edge of Chapel-en-le-Frith with shops, bars and coffee shops just 5-10 mins walk. Also on our doorstep are walks to Eccles pike (30 min walk) with stunning views of the local area. We offer a great base for attractions in Buxton, Castleton, Bakewell and Manchester City centre.

The Entire Coach House at Middleton Hall

Relax in this peaceful unique country home, either warm yourself by the wood burner or relax out in the garden, taking in the beautiful surroundings of the private Middleton Hall estate. The Coach House has been refurbished , with designer furniture, wall paper, hand painted murals on the walls, marble shower room, hypnos beds and an American fridge freezer. A sleeps two, barn conversion with original beams. The Nook is located at Back Tor Farm in the Edale Valley. We welcome all enquiries of three nights or more but do prefer Friday changeover dates. It is an essential part of our hosting terms that the person responsible for booking our property makes their full name and mobile number available to us in the Airbnb booking process. 3rd Party bookings are not acceptable.
