A great value, quirky and cheerful cosy nest of your own to retreat to when exploring the local nature, countryside and coast or as a convenient stopover when visiting Exeter or Cornwall. The caravan sits in my beautiful garden close to Haldon Forest, the Exe Estuary and the South Devon Coast of Dawlish Warren, Dawlish and Teignmouth. Perfect for walkers, birdwatchers, cyclists and nature lovers. Of road parking, A secure back garden safe for well behaved dogs. Safe storage for bikes, kayaks.

Set in an idyllic three acres of rolling countryside near Dawlish, Leat Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind, a great base from which to explore the south west or an inspiring retreat to write or paint. A warm welcome awaits you to a cosy cottage set in stunning rural surroundings and only a 45 minute walk or 5-10 minute drive to Dawlish, 15-20 minute drive to Teignmouth or 25 minute drive to Exeter. It has dedicated parking but if you don’t fancy driving, Dawlish has a train station. Explore Torquay, Exeter and Paignton or walk the South Devon coastal path.

We are an ideal base for you to explore Devon by car, bus or train. Our cosy Lounge/Kitchen is open plan leading out to a small balcony, overlooking the communal garden perfect for early morning cups of tea or looking up at the stars with a glass of wine. Enjoy a tranquil nights sleep in our newly refreshed bedroom. A perfect break away!

Snuggle up by the woodburner in the cosy lounge, or relax in hot tub after a day out, you can enjoy a 15 minute stroll to Dawlish with its beach, pubs, shops and restaurants. (Unfortunately the property is not suitable for single / mixed sex groups of more than 4)
