Our newly built Shepherds Hut is situated on our working beef and sheep farm. We are nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a World Heritage Site just outside the moorland village of Minions. Surrounded by breathtaking views of rolling countryside, unrivalled dramatic landscape and steeped in history and heritage the local area has endless places to explore. We are the perfect base for your Cornish Adventure, weather you are seeking an active weekend or the chance to unwind.

Delightful shepherd’s hut in peaceful location

Our idyllic shepherd’s hut is perfect for a quiet holiday. We’re off the beaten track, in a small hamlet, with nearby large farm shop/restaurant. We're just a ten minute drive to the long, sandy beach at Gwithian in St Ives bay. The hut is at the end of our big garden, overlooking fields and has its own outside eating area and fire pit/bbq. There’s a wood stove inside for cosy evenings. This is also a good place to work - quiet and with a table by the window, with views across fields.

The Rook's Nest shepherd's hut offers up a unique holiday experience. In a beautiful setting it is a delightful cosy but bright small space. An ideal base for exploring the west of Cornwall. Provided within this very compact space is a comfy double bed with proper mattress, seating area, oven and hob, fridge, hot and cold water, bluetooth stereo, TV and woodburner with logs provided. There is a separate building in the garden - a bar - which you are welcome to use.
