Forge Cottage

We have recently updated this cottage ---- with a new kitchen with a proper hob and oven, and also replaced all the windows and even the front door ! The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. Ideal for couples, or people traveling on their own, the cottage is a great location for local attractions such as Beamish Museum, Durham, Newcastle, Kilhope lead mining museum etc., but it's also great for those looking for peace and quiet and country walks !!

There's a king-size bed (can be set up as twin beds), underfloor heating, a modern kitchen area and a bathroom with shower. Stanners Studio is well situated for riverside walks, accessing all that Corbridge offers, the railway station and is the perfect base for exploring Corbridge, Hexham, The Roman Wall and the wider Tyne Valley. Perfect for those wanting to explore the Tyne Valley. The property sits on cycle route 72. Hadrian's Wall Trail is close by and the train station, shop and pub are all a few minutes walk away.

Self Contained Rural Retreat Hexham

You enjoy a self contained annexe with far reaching views of the surrounding countryside. Your accommodation has a private entrance on the ground floor into the sitting room, which has a sofa, dining table and chairs. Within this living area are kitchen facilities including fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin. Stairs lead to the double bedroom including wardrobe and drawers.

Just a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive into Hexham (twice voted Happiest Town in the UK) With its many fantastic pubs & restaurants. You are only a short drive from Hadrian's Wall, Vindolanda, Housesteads and Sycamore Gap. After a day exploring the local area, wind down and relax in the extra large hot tub or warm your toes in front of the cozy log burner.

The Cart House, Hadrian's Wall country

The Cart House is self contained accomodation accessed via its own front door. It comprises of a comfortable lounge and a small kitchenette with fridge freezer, microwave, sink, airfryer, kettle, toaster and dining table. There is also have a one ring table top hob and a grill. A separate shower room leads off the lounge area. The bedroom includes a king size bed set in the alcove of the original stone entrance. Up to 2 dogs welcome, £10 per dog. *10% discount for stays of 7 days or more*

Chollerton House is located in the hamlet of Chollerton and is set in its own grounds overlooking the river North Tyne which is just a hundred yards away across our own paddock. The flat is located on the first floor, affording lovely views on all sides, and has its own seperate access, assuring complete privacy. Chollerton lies only one mile north of the World Heritage site of Hadrian's Wall and the flat provides a charming and secluded base from which to explore beautiful Northumberland.
