Situated in the beautiful Village of Ovingham this accommodation comprises of a large double room with a private bathroom with shower. Attached to the owners house, It has its own front door allowing private access for guests. The room has small kitchenette area with a sink, fridge, kettle and microwave. Perfect for those wanting to explore the Tyne Valley. The property sits on cycle route 72. Hadrian's Wall Trail is close by and the train station, shop and pub are all a few minutes walk away.

Set on a working sheep farm, Ben’s Hut offers a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There is a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm and welcoming at any time of year. Only 20 minutes drive will take you to the world heritage site of Durham City and 30 minutes into Newcastle, with the most welcoming of Geordie hospitality. Both cities are noted for their stunning architecture along with superb restaurants and traditional pubs. There are many local attractions for all ages within a good walk or a short drive.

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.

Step inside this spacious cottage and you will have everything you require for a wonderful stay. The space is very open plan and bright which brings the beautiful rolling views of the Tyne Valley countryside inside.

The Annexe

The Annexe is self contained at the rear of Pontop Hall with its own single parking space. The Hall is a grade 2* Listed Building, built as early as 1600. Recently restored the property has all the modern comforts you would expect in a home. You can enjoy a tranquil environment with some excellent walks on your doorstep and in the local area.
