Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ☺️

This is a lovely Airbnb. We stayed for five days, and had torrential rain for the first few — which we spent snuggled up on the sofas, enjoying the fire and underfloor heating, and making the most of the fully equipped kitchen with incredibly fresh produce from the local farm shops. On the sunny, clearer days, we caught a couple of gorgeous sunsets from the hot tub and even had a go at a bit of stargazing with the telescope provided. The barn is beautifully converted; the way it lets the light in is just something else! Our dog also loved having a garden to run around in and enjoyed meeting the neighbouring cows.

Staying here was an absolute pleasure, we chose this cottage mainly because it is dog friendly with an enclosed garden, and close to family friends and the event we came for. Sherry was super friendly and kept us updated about the stay all along, the cottage is really cosy and a lovely base to come home to after adventuring. When she says it's dog friendly, it really is! Some places don't let dogs freely use the place, but here it was all set up perfectly for him and he loved using the garden. It was extremely clean when we arrived, and the fresh flowers, milk, biscuits and prosecco were such lovely touches. We really enjoyed using the hot tub, it's tucked away and can see how you could enjoy it in all weather. The kitchen is well stocked so if you want to home-cook it's easy to do so, there's also plenty of plastic glasses/cups to use in the hot tub. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be booking again!

This place was simply stunning. The house itself was so spacious and well set up. We lived the addition of the hot tub and table tennis table - all perfect distractions when the weather is not reliable :) Communication with Julian was excellent and any little queries that we had on arrival were sorted almost immediately. Having reviewed lots of places to stay in Dartmoor National Park, Claire's place stood out immediately and this was evident throughout out stay. The location is fantastic and Claire's attention to detail with handy notes and fantastic communication was superb! A perfect little getaway spot just what we were after.

Great love and care has been taken with this converted cottage. Everything is 5* accommodation is immaculate, but still homely and the attention to detail amazing, from slippers and robes for the hot tub and milk, butter, tea bags and a delicious lemon cake !! The loveliest, most peaceful little paradise for a couple of days away from reality! The house was deceptively big with everything you need for a little stay, and great recommendations from Louise and Andrew on local amenities, pubs etc. Louise met us on arrival, walked us to the house and advised on using the hot tub. Otherwise left us to it but both Louise and Andrew were very responsive to messages as appropriate. The house was done up nicely and very clean, and the farm itself is beautiful and very peaceful. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Emma and Kevin were the most friendly and attentive hosts - nothing was too much trouble for them! They provide us with lots of information on the property and local surroundings, recommendations on things to do and checked in whilst we were there to see if there was anything else they could do for us. The property itself is in a quiet and peaceful location with a fantastic pub within walking distance and lots of other things within a short drive. The thought and care that has gone into the house is second to none, with a wood fire, jacuzzi, large bath, comfortable bed and a well stocked kitchen to name just a few of the amazing amenities. We had an wonderful time here and will absolutely look to be back in the not too distance future as we loved it so much!

Great value for a lovely quiet retreat for the weekend, easy to get around the North Cornish coast from the location. Accomodation was spotless and very comfortable, would happily stay again as it offered all we need.

Karen’s and Steve’s place is in a beautiful location. Lots of beautiful scenery and animals walking around in the huge garden The animals are very friendly and extremely quiet. The property is a beautiful cottage with lovely views. Secure rear garden for our little dog to walk around talking to the chickens and ducks and geese etc. Steve and Karen were extremely helpful and made you feel very welcome. Made for a relaxing weekend stay which is exactly what we wanted.

such a lovely comfortable X clean space, very tranquil. loved meeting the chickens X best eggs going!! Short car ride to Bude with lots of pretty villages in between 😊

Highly recommend the Hideaway. A very clean, comfortable, cosy cottage with everything you need for a home from home. Dog friendly garden with fantastic views. We ( and our dog) loved the rural walks to Talland Bay and Polperro.

The cottage is in a lovely location with great views from one of the double bedrooms and the conservatory and driveway. It felt very homely with the fire very useful, comfy sofas, thick stone walls. Kitchen is a little small but has everything needed, and has a spacious dining area attached. Comfortably fits 6, even 7 with sofa bed, though the two single bed mattresses feel a bit old. It was at a discounted price however with some more work said to be needed. Lovely woodland walk on the doorstep and coast very close. Very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t find pre-warned damp much of an issue. Amy was helpful and attentive though being in a different time zone. Appreciated the private space. A good find.

We had a wonderful stay here. Really easy to find - hosts gave great instructions. Thoughtfully left us milk and biscuits and a gorgeous little book with suggestions of walks pubs etc. Bed linen from Secret Linen store which was soft and luxurious. Spotlessly clean. Tracey was on hand if we needed anything. Cottage is cute and cozy and fire is wonderful. Great selection of books etc. My husband thought the kitchen was incredibly well kitted out. Absolutely loved our stay. Oh and there is the most stunning stream at the side of the garden. Drank tea by it. Blissful.

Firstly Kamila and Elena were fabulous hosts, super quick to respond, very helpful with local recommendations and really friendly. We stayed at Pump Cottage, very tranquil and perfect for two adults. It was just what was needed to wind down and relax. The location is remote but within a 15 minute drive you have local amenities. Highly recommended is the Rising Sun in Altarnun, a 10 minute drive away, the food was incredible. This was a great base to go exploring and we didn't want to leave, so much so, that we have already booked to come back next month!

Totally fabulous! This is one of our favourite every Abnbs. The location was great- right on the water and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The house is exactly as described and had everything we needed during our stay. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. We particularly enjoyed: Heligan gardens; the Fowey Hall walk; hiring a boat for an hour; kayaking directly from the house (we bought an inflatable kayak with us); Readymoney beach; eating ice cream from Ruby's and King of Cones. The kids loved the upstairs bedroom because they had their own floor/bathroom but they did comment that that it gets quite light in the morning so would recommend a sleep mask or gro blind if you're a light-sensitive sleeper staying in that room.

A lovely warm quiet house with tons of character and a good atmospher. It's in a great location, close to town but away from crowds. Space for 2 cars. Kitchen was well equipped. There's a handy guide on the table with practical bits and local attractions. The beds are comfy and the sound proofing is good between rooms. It was well heated which was very much appreciated in March. Can definitely recommend.

Hannah and Ivor really helpful and friendly. Lovely setting. Children loved being able to forage and see the wildlife. Perfect. Peaceful.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely cottage. Even with a 3 year old and an 8 week old I managed to get some time to relax on the patio, watching the lambs play and just listening to birds singing. Truly wonderful! We really lucked out with some lush weather and spent a couple of days playing in the pool, my daughter absolutely loved it! It was a warm enough temperature for her to play around quite happily most of the day! And it was just us there all day! I loved the attention to detail having a little drinks fridge there too, great idea! We'd love to come and visit again one day! Thanks again for a lovely few days!

We arrived as guests, left as friends. Thank you so much Josephine for your uplifting and warm nature that has been transferred to your beautiful little nook. Although we only stayed for one night, the range of facilities was overwhelming and satisfying to see. All beds were extremely comfortable, we regrettably had to exchange for our sleeping bags the next night. An extremely responsive host, who was accomodating to all our needs. Two of us have just returned from a six night stay at Garden Cottage. There was a welcome tray when we arrived which was welcome. The house and garden were peaceful and the gardens were beautiful even in March. You can walk down to North Beach in about 15 minutes and have a lovely cream tea in the Winking Pawn restaurant. You can walk down to Salcombe but it is a steep walk back uphill. Victoria answered our queries straight away. The cottage is a home from home, well equipped kitchen and lovely hot water in the shower. There are lots of National Trust houses to visit within drivable distance. Overbeck’s Garden is one you should not miss. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Lovely little cottage with perfect sleeping arrangements for our family of 5. Excellent communication prior and during our stay. Beautiful village and close to all the attractions we had planned to visit. Highly recommend a visit 😊.
