Known historically as the slate capital of the world, Blaenau Ffestiniog is in the heart of the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), surrounded by rugged mountains, lakes and hiking and biking trails. Our 18th century cottage is nestled beneath low hills in Cwm Pennant, a quiet, beautiful valley in the heart of Eryri National Park. Sitting off the road, our only neighbours are sheep and cows - an ancient church across a river is the only building in sight. The cottage is as cosy and comfortable on the inside as it is historic and beautiful on the outside - perfect whatever the season.

A place to unwind after an adrenaline fuelled visit to Zip World?! A 15 min walk along Lon Las footpath takes you right to the entrance to Zip World, home to the fastest zip line in the world! The house is opposite a small Petrol Station and Spar Grocery Shop selling all basic supplies. The house is perfectly located as a base to explore stunning landscapes, beautiful lakes and magnificent mountains.
