It has been furnished to a high standard and is the ideal getaway. This chocolate box village has stunning hikes, bike rides, wild swimming, golf and fishing for the outdoor type. A traditional barn, set on the slopes of Whernside, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, this truly is a secluded spot. Located at the end of a narrow track, it is surrounded by woodland, fields and two streams. The open plan, rustic style suits couples, small groups and some families, and is ideal as a base for outdoor activities. A peaceful dog-friendly rural retreat with walks on your doorstep, exclusive use of the garden, charcoal BBQ, pizza oven, and a wood-fired hot tub to relax in.

We currently have 3 luxury pods that all come with their own private hot tub. Sleep up to 4 people. Central heating. Peaceful location. Dog friendly. Child friendly. Hob, microwave, fridge freezer. The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.
