The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

The beach and historical promenade are just two streets away, along with a wealth of amenities right on the doorstep.

A cheerfully colourful apartment right on the promenade. It offers a quiet bedroom and a large open-plan living-dining-kitchen room with sea views. There you will find a well-equipped kitchen, as well as a dining table, a sofabed and a TV, books and games. The apartment has a personal atmosphere in which you can relax well. As the accommodation is very well equipped it is also suitable for longer stays. I happily welcome guests of all faiths, genders, sexual orientations and ethnicities.

Enjoy the beautiful surroundings at this peaceful pod in the Welsh Hills, just over a mile outside Devils Bridge, which is famous for its waterfalls. The Pod is on a quiet country lane with lots of wonderful walks straight out the door. The Pod is cosy and the perfect spot to enjoy the quiet countryside and beautiful dark skies, whilst also having plenty of interesting things to do and see in the local area.

Birchfield is a lovely short walk away (just past the tennis and bowls club) down to the promenade and beach. It's also really close to the town with a couple of convenience stores around 100m away. The stunning coastline of Cardigan Bay (with fabulous walks) is on your door step, and Aberystwyth is a really delightful town. This house has been newly refurbished and is perfect for a relaxing holiday.
