The Maples is an ideal retreat from which to enjoy a host of activities and places to visit. The market town of Garstang just 8 miles away and the popular North West coast of Blackpool just 30 mins away by car and within easy reach to Southport and Lytham St Annes.

A spacious lodge, with private entrance, in the large garden of a family home near the seaside village of Knott-End-On-Sea . Free range eggs from chickens in the garden and a trampoline are available Located very near the sea, you can stroll down the front to village cafes, pub, shops, golf club and a short ferry to Fleetwood. Stalmine historic village is close to The Seven Stars pub offering delicious food and local ales. The nearby seaside resort of Blackpool is within easy reach. Other places of interest include Lytham and St. Annes. The Lakes less than an hour away.

On a country lane, that provides quick access to Blackpool with its night life, attractions and illuminations in September, and only 50 mins to the Lake District. If you want the sea, its not far at all, with large beaches at Blackpool and the lovely upgraded front at Cleveleys is only a short drive away.

This is the perfect base for cycling or rambling along the coast or into the countryside along with exploring the historic surroundings.
