Amazing stay at Heron’s View with the rolling hills, private enclosed garden and enclosed meadow for the dog to run around. The house was warm and cosy decorated for Christmas, the bed was comfortable and modern decor throughout. A countryside retreat whilst only 5 mins from the town of Ruthin and its conveniences.

Our stay at Dee Valley cottages was fantastic. There was plenty of space for our boys to play outside and the amenities in the accommodation was exceptional. We loved it and would definitely book to stay here again. Thank you

The house was beautiful and very well located. Will definitely consider staying again but maybe in the spring/summer as we found the house a little cold in the evenings/overnight.

Lovely little cottage, literally a stones throw from the Aquaduct and the cottage comes with the free use of kayaks saving us £100 paying for hired tours!! The canal in less than 30 seconds from the cottage, ideal for long walks with the dogs down the canal… stopping at pubs along the way! We had a wonderful stay, lovely town and cosy great spot within it. The cottage was well equipped and had lots of lovely touches, books, games etc. Great walks, coffee spots, shops, easy supermarkets nearby. We met the host briefly who was friendly and welcoming. Our only improvements would have been clearer instructions on the parking (a permit for the road was provided) and location (it’s slightly off the street) before arriving at the place, and heating having been on as it took us a bit of time to work out and heat up which was tricky with a baby. Otherwise excellent, would highly recommend, thank you!

Beautiful and spacious! A gorgeous country retreat. Thank you for letting our little ones say hello to Margot the dog too! Close to Chester/the zoo and other places of interest. Restaurant recommendations spot on too.

We had a great stay in Moreton - a family of 4 plus dog staying for a few days whilst visiting relatives nearby. Our dog was made very welcome, the girls loved the hot tub and everything was clean, comfortable and easy to use. Note also that there is a new shower fitted, so we had no issues with water pressure as mentioned in some earlier reviews. It is off the beaten track, but as a result is scenic and peaceful, so we liked it that way! Thanks very much, will visit again.

We LOVED our stay here! The home is fabulous, so many spacious rooms to explore, each one decorated in a great way. The outdoor space is amazing, and was such a highlight of our stay, from the stunning countryside views, the lush pool, the immaculate sauna out building (a hot tub on the balcony or outside would be a cherry on top of a delicious cake). We also loved that the house was so well stocked in the kitchen and cupboards throughout the house, which made it easier and more enjoyable to just chill at the house. Everyone said that they're beds were super comfy too. The neighbours were very welcoming and helpful too, it was a lovely start to our stay meeting Les! It was easy to communicate with the host, and they messaged us 24 hours before check out to let us know we could check out later which was fab. Would definitely recommend staying here with a big group, plenty of space for everyone with a fab social dining table. Diolch yn fawr

Great value for a great place to stay. A short drive away from the busy centre of Llangollen so it was very peaceful and quiet, with beautiful welsh surroundings literally on the door step. Hosts were very friendly but as they’d organised the accommodation so well, we didn’t really need to bother them! The house has everything needed for a short stay to make our stay all the more convenient. I will definitely recommend to my friends with their families! Diolch yn fawr

We enjoyed a very relaxing long weekend in this lovely cabin. Hot tub and pool were a bonus. Surroundings were beautiful and there were places to take the dogs. Site was well kept and people were helpful and friendly. We were also blessed with the weather. Thank you

Perfect weekend away! The cottage was exactly as described. Was clean and very spacious! There was complimentary Welsh cakes with jam and milk in the fridge which are lovely touches! Views were breathtaking! Martin was so friendly. Was there when I arrived and welcomed me in and gave me some tips on the local town! Overall lovely experience. Would definitely book again!

David's apartment on the border between Acrefair and Trevor was a real treasure. It was a perfect location for us while visiting family, and is very close to natural attractions including the aqueduct, Dinis Bran, panorama walk, and Llangollen town. The apartment is even better than the very accurate photographs in the listing. We only stayed one night but it was spacious enough for us happily to have stayed a week. Very nicely furnished, and with everything you need: a super kitchen set-up, comfortable night's sleep, books, games, good wifi etc. Being next to the brook made for a calming atmosphere. And set back from the road, with very generous parking, meant it was quiet and peaceful. We walked down to the canal and enjoyed the sunshine and the boating activity. David was very helpful and friendly in communications. He popped out for chat before we left which was really nice. He could not have made us feel more welcome (and his paintings are lovely). Super stay!

The hosts are fab, easy to contact and as this cottage has been in the family for generations it feels loved & cared for. It is NOT just a money maker, they want you to enjoy their old home….and we did

Myself and my partner enjoyed a peaceful 3 night stay in this gorgeous, spacious open-plan barn conversion. It has everything we needed and the farm animals were a lovely bonus (especially the lambs and puppies)! Due to the very rural location, it was perfect for what we were looking for. Hosts were wonderful and gave excellent communication when needed!

We had a wonderful stay at Kate and Marc’s beautiful renovated barn. The accommodation was furnished beautifully, well equipped and felt very luxurious. It was perfect for the bridal party to stay at prior to our daughter’s wedding. Kate and Marc were extremely helpful and kind. We couldn’t recommend highly enough 😊

We were delighted when we opened the door Cath’s place is a real gem and was immaturely clean and perfectly situated in the lovely town of Llangollen - private parking was a bonus too !

Stayed here with my friends for my boyfriends birthday and we had an amazing time. The place looked exactly like the pictures and there was something for everyone to do. Would highly recommend to anyone. We will 100% book again.
