The house was beautiful and very well located. Will definitely consider staying again but maybe in the spring/summer as we found the house a little cold in the evenings/overnight.

Amazing! Caroline was extremely helpful prior to our arrival with lots of key information and helpful local tips. The accommodation was spotless! Beautifully present and very comfortable for our family of 5. The pictures do not do justice to for the size of the downstairs space. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and great to have two separate bathrooms and showers. The countryside surroundings were stunning and very relaxing spending evenings in the hot tub after long walks. We visited some great pubs and restaurants in the local area. I would recommend without reservation! Thanks Caroline

We had a wonderful stay, lovely town and cosy great spot within it. The cottage was well equipped and had lots of lovely touches, books, games etc. Great walks, coffee spots, shops, easy supermarkets nearby. We met the host briefly who was friendly and welcoming. Our only improvements would have been clearer instructions on the parking (a permit for the road was provided) and location (it’s slightly off the street) before arriving at the place, and heating having been on as it took us a bit of time to work out and heat up which was tricky with a baby. Otherwise excellent, would highly recommend, thank you!

Rich & Sarah's place made for the perfect holiday. It feels like somewhere they actually use and enjoy which makes the place feel very warm and full of character. It was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities you could want and more. On this occasion, we were able to check in early and check out late which was a real treat - we appreciated the hosts' flexibility. They were very easy to communicate with and we had all the information we needed about the flat and about the local area. There's tons to do around the area - we had never been before and now we can't wait to come back. This place served as a perfect base to explore. Would happily stay again and recommend to anybody.

Stayed here with my friends for my boyfriends birthday and we had an amazing time. The place looked exactly like the pictures and there was something for everyone to do. Would highly recommend to anyone. We will 100% book again.

Lovely place and really great host - top communication and instructions. Would 100% go back. Only down side is downstairs shower pressure but it does the job!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Curlew's nest. The fittings and equipment were of high quality and provided everything we needed. We shall definitely try to stay there again when we are next in the Ruthin area.

Josh is a super host, we really enjoy his flat, very quiet, short distance to brilliant walks and beach of Talacre. We’ll book again, all you need in kitchen, very clean flat, good shower. It’s next to a barrack but not an issue as was very quiet in our stay.

Fantastic location in the centre of Llangollen: lots of shops and things to do on the doorstep; we were also able to get here very easily by public transport on the train to Ruabon and a short bus ride to the stop nearby. Very comfy flat with everything you need. Would stay here again

Great value for a great place to stay. A short drive away from the busy centre of Llangollen so it was very peaceful and quiet, with beautiful welsh surroundings literally on the door step. Hosts were very friendly but as they’d organised the accommodation so well, we didn’t really need to bother them! The house has everything needed for a short stay to make our stay all the more convenient. I will definitely recommend to my friends with their families! Diolch yn fawr

Very lovely. We only had 1 evening there. I came to visit the Lavinia Shop. Fresh milk and fruit, and available tea, coffe and hot chocolate.

Great two nights stay, while visiting family member in Chester Uni (only 20 min from Chester). Comfortable and fully equipped. My old two dogs enjoyed fully fenced garden. Welcome goodies -wine, pastry, milk and dog biscuits- much appreciated!! Picturesque village with lots of walks and lovely atmosphere- Holt castle within walking distance. Nice host, clear instructions, easy to find. Highly recommended.

Lovely little place. Loved the hot tub and the swinging chairs on the balcony. So peaceful! Had everything we needed for our stay. Gary was very helpful and friendly and communication was great. Would definitely recommend! Carlito's pizza, a 2 minute walk outside The Park Place Pub is a must too. Absolutely delicious.

Great location for exploring Llangollen. Easy to park, quick to walk into town and close to supermarkets to get supplies. The flat was comfortable and clean, had the best night sleep in the giant bed.

David's apartment on the border between Acrefair and Trevor was a real treasure. It was a perfect location for us while visiting family, and is very close to natural attractions including the aqueduct, Dinis Bran, panorama walk, and Llangollen town. The apartment is even better than the very accurate photographs in the listing. We only stayed one night but it was spacious enough for us happily to have stayed a week. Very nicely furnished, and with everything you need: a super kitchen set-up, comfortable night's sleep, books, games, good wifi etc. Being next to the brook made for a calming atmosphere. And set back from the road, with very generous parking, meant it was quiet and peaceful. We walked down to the canal and enjoyed the sunshine and the boating activity. David was very helpful and friendly in communications. He popped out for chat before we left which was really nice. He could not have made us feel more welcome (and his paintings are lovely). Super stay!

We had a wonderful time in this accommodation. The accommodation was perfect for a getaway, we loved the shower and the bed, super comfortable!!! Rosemarys place was well equipped, with all the basics it was lovely to have coffee and milk (we thought the dog treats was an amazing thoughtful touch!). Rosemary was very proactive and gave us loads of parking recommendations. We really loved our stay and would come again!

We can’t express how impressive this property is, the photos don’t do it justice. It’s perfect, we had the best stay that I wish we would take this as our own home. So beautiful inside and the detail of what you had available to use was perfect. Thank you for being such an incredible host and responding to any questions, instructors where so clear and friendly. great host, excellent location and spotlessly clean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is clean, comfortable and the extras were very much appreciated, thank you Tanya. The location is fabulous, a lovely walk into Llangollen and to many other places. We did a sunset walk to Castell Dinas Bran which was stunning. We were treated to a couple of mornings of steam train entertainment as well which was a bonus. We definitely recommend staying here, it's the perfect base.

Fantastic stay! Really clear instructions for check in which made arriving late in the evening go smoothly. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is right on the river, just a short walk from local town and pubs/restaurants. Paula was very responsive to any queries and really helpful with information. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
