First Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. Great location (very quiet), clean, everything you could need and very homely. Janice was a great host and all instructions were clear. Great holiday, good value for money and would definitely recommend. Melanie.

Its a beautiful house. Host was so very friendly and helpful. House is spotless , clean and well decorated. Everything was just perfect and we felt like a home.

We were splendidly well looked after in a fantastic apartment in a beautiful location. Finding out that we could walk to some woods was just an added bonus. Strongly recommend.

Paul's place was very clean and smelt fresh when we arrived. It is in a very quiet residential area, but not too far from the centre of Amble. It was a good place to base ourselves to explore the wonderful Northumberland coast. Paul contacted us 24 hours before we arrived with check-in instructions.

We all had an amazing time ! Plenty space for our family of 11 and 3 dogs.

An outstanding location with the best views. Andy and Lyd were really nice and very helpful. The apartment felt homely, comfortable and warm. Ideal to return to after a long hike. Highly recommend. We plan to return.

So we're just back after a lovely stay! Property is perfect for two adults and ideal as a base to explore Northumbria. House has everything you need, Well equipped kitchen with fridge hob oven grill and microwave. Nice dining area. We loved the log burner which really heats up the living area!! Huge bed upstairs and nice bathroom with shower and plenty of towels. Would definitely recommend this property, especially if you are a beach lover!! The beach is just a few steps away from the front door. Top Tips. Local B&M sells bags of logs which are very cheap we paid £5 per bag. Watch out for the hot water in the kitchen, it can get super hot.

Nous savons séjourné 3 jours chez Steven avec nos deux enfants. La communication a été excellente et Steven très réactif pour répondre à nos questions. L’appartement situé au dernier étage est tout à fait fidèle à sa description. Il est très bien équipé, très propre, literie impeccable et calme. La possibilité d’utiliser la cheminée dans le salon est un vrai plus et rendent le séjour encore plus agréable. L’accès au centre ville ou au port est très facile et relativement court (20 aine de minutes en tram). Nous sommes ravis de ce logement et ne manqueront pas d’y revenir. Merci à Steven!

Die Unterkunft von Jay war sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Es gibt gute Restaurants in der Nähe, man erreicht das Zentrum zu Fuss und ganz in der Nähe befindet sich der Arthur’s Seat. Der Aufstieg ist sehr zu empfehlen, man wird mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf die Stadt und die Gegend belohnt! Jay war sehr zuvorkommend, hat immer sofort geantwortet. Unser Aufenthalt war perfekt.

A lovely apartment in the city centre a few minutes from the station, spacious and very comfortable. Great views which made the 4 flights of stairs very worthwhile.

What a perfect apartment, ideal for our family, we found it to be even better than the listing suggested! Spotlessly clean with great quality furniture including beds, bedding, pillows and lovely thick towels. The kitchen was particularly well stocked, our 5 year old was delighted with the little boxes of cereals and such a treat to find a Selkirk Bannock too! Would definitely stay again, we had a lovely relaxing stay

In aller Kürze: zentral, historisch, super Gastgeberin- perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in Edinburgh und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Pubs/leckere Restaurants, die Royal Mile direkt vor der Haustüre , alle bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen - geht kaum besser!

Our family of four had a lovely stay! The apartment was located directly in the heart of Edinburgh just a few steps away from restaurants and shops as well as a very short walk to Edinburgh castle. Even more so, it’s very close to the train station and the bus to the airport. Very convenient. Our two kids slept comfortably in the two twin beds and the primary bedroom was very nice. We loved the charm of the apartment and how it matched the city of Edinburgh. Highly recommend :)

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. The flat is very clean and equipped with everything you need (even slippers!) Sadly we didn’t get to enjoy the roof terrace, but the highlight of our stay was the bed - one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in!! The location is super central and walking distance from lovely pubs and cafes. (If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs as the street can get quite noisy at night during the weekend). Will definitely come back next time I visit Edinburgh again.

We LOVED staying here! It’s a beautiful home (even bigger than it looks in the pictures) next to a great local pub and surrounded by gorgeous countryside. Adrian was super helpful, consistently going above and beyond to ensure we had a fab stay. 10/10!

we have just left Howford house after a lovely 3 night weekend stay to celebrate my husbands 40th. we were a family of 14 adults, 2 children and a newborn baby and we had the most peaceful comfortable stay. the house is fantastic, it has everything you need and the location although super private and peaceful, it was near restaurants, the coop supermarket, Traquair House and land which we got discounted because we were house guests, and lots of walks and hikes. the surrounding acres were stunning with the frost and autumn leaves. we all loved our stay, the kids (and the adults) didn't want to leave. special thanks to Elaine the housekeeper who was brilliant with her communication and help. we will recommend and be back in the future.

Entering this well appointed, beautiful home, there is a feeling of warmth and relaxation. The skylights bring in the natural light to the bathrooms. The Kitchen is modern and sleek, with everything you need to make a first class meal. The visually stunning, spacious backyard has a wonderful garden. There is a park just behind the house. My daily jog would lead me down to the beach. Here i would do a quick cold plunge- rejuvenating my body. The area is surrounded by a world renowned collection of golf clubs. The Longniddry golf club is a short walk and is a fun track. Thank you for being great hosts.

The place was absolutely stunning. We were awestruck by the gorgeous interior. Visitors can expect a fantastic time staying in the accommodation. However, having a vehicle to travel is a must. There is parking available. Indoor heating (radiators) is provided in every room and common areas. Fireplace was used during our stay in the winter season. The host is very responsive and friendly. While the location provided is accurate. The drive up to the accommodation can erroneous as google map did not consider the closures at Forest Drive. Hence, it will be good to check with the host properly.
