This homely thatch cottage nestled right on the banks of the beautiful Breede River comfortably sleeps 4 adults & 4 children. Totally tranquil, yet filled with vibrancy & character, its large patio overlooking the river make it ideal for a peaceful & quiet getaway. Although quaint & rustic, the house is well-equipped with everything you might need - including uninterrupted wifi during load-shedding. Stack-away doors open up to the river offering spectacular views & nature right into your space.

Stunning, up-market holiday home with great sea views. Consisting of: Upstairs: Main bedroom with sea views and en-suite full bathroom. A spacious open-plan living area with views from every angle, quality furniture, fireplace, fully fitted and equipped kitchen & scullery, patio with built-in barbecue. Downstairs: 2 bedrooms with sea views and a shared full bathroom, 3rd bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower, basin, toilet) but no sea views. Living area with fireplace, and a laundry area.

Gorgeous cottage with indoor fireplace

The cottage is beautifully decorated and utterly charming. The beautifully presented and well-preserved rural styled home with reclaimed features is well positioned for easy access to the quaint town. There are two spacious bedrooms with high ceilings throughout, a sun-drenched living room with a working fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful main bedroom with ensuite bathroom and spacious shower. The large entertainment stoep is a must see ! Wifi: a stable 10Mbps line is included.

At Patat Cottage

At Patat cottage is situated within Langezandt Fisherman's Village in Struisbaai. It is a relaxing 2-hour drive from Cape Town, through the Cape Overberg region. The cottage comprises a cosy living area with a fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine, and an outdoor terrace with a built-in braai and dining table is also provided. This cottage is nearby Cape Agulhas, the southermost tip of Africa. A visit to the charming fishing village of Struisbaai is highly recommended.
