Like walking or cycling? Use our extensive knowledge of routes, use our boot wash, indoor bike store, bike wash & work station and drying room.

Smardale nature reserve is 100 meters away, with opportunity to see red squirrels, deer and rare Scotch Argus butterflies. Dark sky designated area. No children on bookings without prior agreement.

This recently renovated barn is in a country setting a mile from Orton village in the Westmorland Dales bordering the Lake District National park. Approx 5 minutes from J38 &39 of M6, in easy reach of Orton village’s amenities of pub, cafe, shop, chocolate factory and local farm shop. Ideal as base a for exploring the local area or a stopover en-route to & from the north. Dogs welcome with enclosed garden and walks from the doorstep. Adjoins The Smithy to accommodate upto 9 guests

Barn annexe La’L Skaithe

2 miles from Kirby Stephen, annexe to the main house with own entrance and use of garden in front of the property, outdoor seating. Own front door and a small porch area . We welcome dogs to stay. Bathroom with step into the large shower and non slip mat available , a living and kitchen area with a comfy sofa, table and chairs and a cooker and hob ( no cooker extractor) microwave and fridge. A door leads off the living and kitchen area to a bedroom with double bed and wardrobe.

Rookby Cottage, large Hot Tub & log burner

On the outskirts of Winton in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside in AONB is our 2 bedroom/4 person (including children) holiday cottage. This cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Be in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, breath in the fresh air and come home to your own modern yet country-feeling cottage. Hot tub, seating area at the back, and private entrance all included. Please note there are quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. Hot tub can be used at anytime

Chapel Cottage is situated in the charming village of Winton, in Cumbria's stunning and peaceful Eden Valley. Winton is a traditional farming village with a lovely village green and great pub. It is situated 1.5 miles from the market town of Kirkby Stephen, where you will find numerous independent shops, cafes pubs and restaurants. Surrounded by the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North Pennines AONB, there are many walks locally and further afield. Dogs Welcome.

The Mill, Rutter Falls,

Comfortable converted watermill sleeping one or two couples, overlooking a spectacular waterfall, in the tranquil Eden Valley, between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! You won't find accommodation closer to rushing water than this! No under 12s. Check in Fridays and Mondays only.
