Rocking Stone Cottage - Idyllic Rural Retreat

Perfect for two couples or a family an immaculate contemporary cottage in the Peak National Park, a stones throw from Chatsworth. A perfect spot to get away, relax and explore the stunning countryside right from the door. The cottage features beautiful outdoor spaces, a large stone fireplace with woodburning stove, wooden shutters, exposed beams, a fully fitted hand made kitchen, walk in rain showers and romantic roll top bath. BBQ on one of the two terraces or just relax and take in the view.

Welcome to Lancaster Cottage, Winster - possibly the best situated cottage in the Peak District - utterly peaceful yet an easy stroll to pubs and fantastic walking trails from the doorstep. Built in 1701 out of local limestone & Grade II Listed, it oozes character and is the ideal retreat for a luxury romantic escape for 2. Cosy fireplace & beams, huge settee & a dreamy, romantic bedroom with king-sized comfy bed with lovely views over the hills, 2 outdoor seating areas & tranquil garden.

A private space with ensuite bathroom, lounge area, 1 x king bed only, kitchenette (hob only) Studio style, large courtyard, lockable garage. Dog friendly up to two dogs. Complimentary cold breakfast provision. Washing up done by host as no kitchen sink. Coffee, Located a short distance from Bakewell/Matlock in the village of Birchover. checkin 3pm checkout 10am. We love dogs but do not allow to be left unattended or on our bedding. A cosy space ideal for exploring the Peak District.

Two Gates Cottage Self Catering

(This listing is for the entire cottage) Two Gates Cottage is situated in the courtyard at the rear of Elton Guest House, converted from the bothy of this former farm making an ideal cosy cottage for four people. There is a flag stone patio area with flower bed border and garden furniture. Located in the Peak District close to Matlock, Bakewell, Matlock Bath, Dove Dale and attractions such as Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. The grounds feature ample parking in our cobbled courtyard.

Stone cottage with beautiful rustic features

This traditional stone-built cottage is ideally located in the centre of Winster, in the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District The conservation village of Winster has a well-stocked community-owned village shop and Post Office and two excellent pubs There is easy access to nearby towns such as Bakewell and Matlock Local attractions include Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the Crich Tramway Museum. The Limestone Way footpath passes close by and there are many good routes for ramblers.

The Old Barn offers a character barn in a village location, off road parking for 2 cars, short stroll to local shop and pubs - all modern fittings including SkyTV, DVD, and wifi, 3 bedrooms (2 on ground floor, 1 on first floor) 2 bathrooms (1 on ground floor, one on first floor). Excellent and extensive walking from doorstep, outbuilding available for bike storage. All lovingly cleaned and maintained by owner Sharon. Newly refurbished for 2022

17th century cottage in Matlock

A very old stone cottage but newly renovated inside. The cottage was my home, my children were all brought up there. I now live in a barn at the top of the driveway which we tried to build in as energy saving way as we could. During the cottage renovation we have tried to make the space as 'green' as possible.
