Eat in kitchen, full bathroom, laundry room and deck. Home #2 Little Eagle's Hideaway, cozy 2 bedroom home with kitchen, bathroom and enormous deck overlooking the river. Both homes have laminate and stone flooring and are designed so your pet can be included in your getaway in a worry free, comfortable environment.

Enjoy the comforts of home when you have to be away. Our fully furnished cottage is located 4 miles from Rt 53 / Historic Rt 66 & just blocks from the Kankakee River. Just 5 minutes to "downtown" Wilmington featuring restaurants, a wine bar, a local brewery, and multiple antique stores. ✧ Easy access to everything that Joliet has to offer just 20 miles away, including the Autobahn and Route 66 Raceway / Chicagoland Speedway. ✧ 7 miles to easily access I55 for a quick ride into Chicago.

Cabin Getaway

Enjoy your stay at this private, cabin retreat equipped with EV charging station, spacious rooms for everyone. This home is not childproofed, please feel free to bring your own childproofing supplies. Cook meals on your own time in the full size kitchen, or enjoy the cozy wood burning stove in the living room or in the recreational space in the lower level with pool table and full size bar for your enjoyment. Pool is open during the Summer season. There is no isolation fence please supervise.

The Cottage in Godley, IL.

The Godley Cottage is located about halfway between Chicago and Springfield along the Old Route 66. There is a history of gangster hideouts and smuggling during Prohibition. It was originally a coal mining town and now a fisherman's paradise with many lakes here for fishing. The Godley Park District is a great place for kids and adults to play with farm animals and a dog park just a block away from the Cottage.
