Beautiful location! Close to the center but still very peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

Naarden is SUCH a beautiful place and we wouldn’t have found a more primal location if we tried. Between the location and the beautiful flat, you can’t ask for more. The price is a bargain, and our host was such a kind and thoughtful host. We felt right at home, and were hoping to come back next year!

Die Wohnung ist super schön eingerichtet. Es ist alles sauber und ordentlich. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut. Immer schnelle Antworten und super freundlich. Gerne wieder :)

We are so thankful for our time at The Happiest Place, we wish we could give a 6 Star Review! The unit is spacious and cozy, immaculately clean, and has tons of natural light. The kitchen is well -appointed and the bed is perfectly medium-firm. The apartment is centrally located in Utrecht, on a quiet street. Easy walking distance from the train station, grocery stores, restaurants, laundromat, and tourist attractions. Rob is an amazing host, very friendly and gracious, with a deep wealth of local knowledge. We stayed for multiple weeks and ended up extending our stay because we enjoyed it so much. Rob replaced the sheets and towels multiple times and did such a fantastic job making us feel at-home in the apartment. I can say without a doubt, there is nowhere better to stay in Utrecht.

Mariettas Haus liegt in dem schönen Städtchen Muiderberg, von wo aus wir drei Tage lang völlig unkompliziert nach Amsterdam gependelt sind. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt, ist umgeben von alten Bäumen und vielen alleinstehenden Villen. Die Wohnung eingerichtet, es gab kleine Begrüßungsgeschenke wie Pralinen, Käse und Wein. Vielen Dank hierfür. Nach Besichtigungstagen in der Stadt haben wir die Abends in Muiderberg am Strand ausklingen lassen. Ein schöner Aufenthalt.

This apartment was charming, right on a canal, making nighttime peaceful. If you're there for King's Day as we were, skip the crowds and watch party boats pass by while everyone waves and sings. Everything was as perfect as it appeared online. Lex and Sylvia are thoughtful and gracious hosts. I searched for a special gift, and Sylvia went above and beyond—she found it, texted us, and sent pictures! They provided all the essential information, plus an abundance of brochures and maps. The flat is perfect! The kitchen had everything one needed. They even stocked the fridge with essentials for breakfast and lunch. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom and outside space were excellent. The location is incredible. Thank you, Sylvia and Lex, for a wonderful weekend in Utrecht! It was one of my best vacations in a while. We can't wait to come back, Deb

Great apartment. Really well thought out. The level of detail in the guide put together was fabulous and really helpful. Excellent facilities, I’ve been to so many Airbnbs where you get one washing tab and limited hand soap. Here there was a good supply of everything. Bread, butter and cheese on arrival was a nice touch. Decent coffee machine too 😊 The beds were very very comfy! Couldn’t fault at all. I’d defo return should I ever happen to be in Utrecht. If you’re looking for a quiet and welcoming place to stay, this is the perfect spot. The four of us really enjoyed our time here. Peter-Jan gave us a warm welcome upon arrival and shared some helpful tips. While the routes along the canals make the journeys a bit longer, the travel time to Utrecht or Amsterdam is absolutely reasonable. We’d be happy to come back!

Me and my family had a lovely time at Hannah’s place for New Year’s Eve. The house is located in an idilic part of the beautiful Loenen aan de Vetch. It’s a comfortable place with great facilities for family time: big dining area, sociable big kitchen, big sofa, beautiful features etc. We would love to come back in summer time!!! It must be heaven then! We didn’t met Hannah, but communication was great, really easy, quick and helpful… thank you Hannah!

Very peaceful location .. drive-able from all attractions around Amsterdam. Highly recommended for the beautiful views. Anneke was very friendly and helpful.

Twee jaar geleden stonden we tijdens een fietstochtje langs de Vecht bij het ophaalbruggetje in Loenen aan de Vecht: “ wauw, je zult hier maar wonen!” Toen wisten we nog niet dat we dat twee jaar later bijna een week lang mochten ervaren. Het huis van Edward is een bijzonder sfeervol en karakteristiek huis vlakbij het bruggetje aan de Vecht. Je kunt uren op het bankje genieten van alle boten die langs varen. Het huis is comfortabel, alles is aanwezig. Goed ingerichte keuken, goede bedden, sfeervolle inrichting. De tuin is een woonruimte op zich. De directe omgeving lijkt op een openluchtmuseum. Er is genoeg te doen, fietsen, wandelen en natuurlijk varen. Edward reageert snel en heeft goede tips voor dingen om te doen en waar je moet zijn om lekker te eten. Daar hebben we dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt. Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad. Aanrader.

Zunächst einmal hat uns die Gastgeberin Jan herzlich empfangen, er war freundlich und sympathisch. Dafür möchten wir ihm danken. Die Wohnung sah genauso aus wie auf den Fotos. Sie wurde mit einem ästhetischen Gespür gestaltet und dekoriert. Die Sauberkeit war sehr gut, besonders im Bad, der Toilette und der Küche. Auch die Lage war großartig – wir konnten das Zentrum von Amsterdam in nur 30 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichen. Es war eine schlichte und stilvolle Unterkunft mitten in der Natur. Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre die Schalldämmung. Die Küche wird gemeinsam genutzt, und selbst die leisesten Geräusche aus der Küche sind direkt im Zimmer hörbar. Besonders Familien mit Babys sollten dies berücksichtigen.

Wir hatten einen kurzen, sehr schönen Silvesteraufenthalt bei Gerard mit tollem Blick auf das Feuerwerk überm Wasser. Die Wohnung ist modern und schön eingerichtet und verfügt über einen großen Ess- und Wohnbereich. Insbesondere die Küche ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet. Gerard hat auf Rückfragen schnell und hilfreich reagiert. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!

I needed a reasonably priced get away and a place outside the busy city to stay while I adventured around Amsterdam. A bus stop was right by the house that made transportation super easy. I felt at home every night I stayed during my two weeks in the Netherlands. The local area is beautiful and really gives you the full experience of day to day life. The restaurants near by were really delicious. I spent a lot of days just resting and relaxing in the home and it was far more spacious than I could have imagined. The location, the atmosphere, the space, and the town all made for the perfect first time experience in the Netherlands. I wish I could have stayed longer.

We visit Vinkeveen with 4 girls and had a really nice time :) The apartment is pretty and clean and especially the balcony was great. I guess it's a perfect choice if you want to visit amsterdam but also want to have some relaxed time and enjoy the country side or the lake, wich is directly next to the airbnb. We would come back, thanks for the stay!

Wir hatten einen einen gemütlichen und schönen Aufenthalt in Chris Wohnung. Die Kommunikation mit ihm ist gut gelaufen und insgesamt hat alles super funktioniert. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Utrecht.

A lovely well designed studio flat that feels very spacious. Lots of personal thoughtful touches make this a delightful place to stay for a short break. The location is brilliant for visiting the historic centre and despite being on a fairly busy road, it's not noisy. We came by car which is not advised as parking is a challenge - or expensive. Stairs up to the first floor flat are steep but straight so possibly a challenge for anyone with significant mobility issues. Gwen was extremely welcoming and helpful

Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht dort, aber der Wohnung fehlte es an nichts. Sie war sauber und ordentlich. In der Küche war alles vorhanden was man brauch und das Bett ist sehr gemütlich. Die Parkplätze sind leider nicht kostenlos und relativ teuer, aber das wussten wir dank der guten Beschreibung schon vorher. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

I can definitely recommend this accommodation. I rented the little studio and it was perfect for a solo vacation (but it also works for two people). Wilma and her family are very friendly and always making sure that everything is right. The surrounding nature is so beautiful. Take your bike or walk around and enjoy the landscape. The farm is a bit more outside in the fields, so a bike or a car can make the way to and from the frame easier. All in all I can recommend if you are looking for a beautiful and quiet place to spend a couple of day, but also want to visit the city.

We had such a lovely stay at Annemiek’s place! Even though we arrived quite late at 10pm, she welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel right at home. She had thoughtfully prepared some fruits, sweets, and snacks for us—which was such a kind and heartwarming gesture after a long day of travel. 🥰 Annemiek was always available for any questions we had and responded quickly with helpful tips and information. Her home is absolutely beautiful, nestled right by the canal, and the peaceful setting in Weesp made our stay extra special. It’s a charming little town, perfect for a relaxing visit outside the hustle of Amsterdam. She even generously offered us 2 bicycles to explore the area, which we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to use—but we hope to return someday and take them for a ride! Thank you so much, Annemiek, for being such an exceptional host! We’re grateful for the experience!

We had a truly wonderful stay on Laura’s boat. It was perfect for two people - quiet and private, yet close to all of the excitement of Amsterdam. It was so fun to live like a local on a boat house for a few days! It is a boat, so spaces are small, and if that bothers you, you need to choose somewhere else. But if you want the experience of living on a boat for a few days, you will love this place. Definitely rent the bicycles from Laura! If you haven’t seen Holland by bike, you haven’t seen Holland. We loved this place. I really hope we have the chance to go back someday.

The top floor apartment is in a wonderful location well situated in the old city of Utrecht. It is on a historical canal but peaceful as it is away from the main tourist canal and busy restaurants etc. The apartment is on the top floor of an historic town house and while separate and quiet it is part of the owners home - so you need to be respectful of this. The owners did provide plates, cutlery and dishes etc and they kindly washed these each day. There are two quite steep stairs to access the apartment so be mindful of this before booking. A lovely unique place to stay.
