3 holiday cottages nestled in the beautiful Peak District National Park. We are on the outskirts of Wetton village which has a pub and tea room. Thor’s cave is 15 minute walk away and the popular villages of Hartington, Alstonefield and Ilam are all within 10 minutes. We are close to many attractions including Alton Towers, Peak Wildlife, Dovedale and Chatsworth. Our cottages are well stocked, have 2 bedrooms and can sleep between 3-5 people. Our site has a playbarn, play area and large garden.

The village also boasts a Michelin guide restaurant and a regular concert programme.

Pretty Victorian riverside cottage, Alstonefield

Dove Cottage is a former Victorian fishing lodge in a unique setting on the banks of the river Dove. It is situated 3/4 mile from the pretty village of Alstonefield and 5 1/2 miles north of the bustling market town of Ashbourne. The cottage overlooks a tranquil stretch of river running through Wolfscote Dale and a historic former water mill. A riverside footpath passes the bottom of the garden leading north along the river to Hartington and south to Dovedale and the Stepping Stones.
