UB Paradise - Rustic, Relaxing, Amazing View

A unique rustic atmosphere, relaxing location with amazing view. Private entry, open floor plan basement is 1,300 square feet; 4 double beds, wrap around window seat, bar with kitchenette, bath/shower, and game area. We welcome those who are looking for a unique place to stay. We are close to Taneytown (Antrim 1844), Gettysburg, Frederick, Ski Liberty, Catoctin Mountain, Carroll County Wine Trail, Flood Zone. We do live upstairs, you are renting a walkin basement, and have use of outdoor spaces.

The Pig Shed Writer’s Retreat at Barter Lady Farm

Newly renovated with all new bathroom! The Pig Shed is an idyllic setting, close to Gettysburg and McDaniel College. Dogs under 50lbs welcome for Additional Fee, see House Manual for rules/fees for dogs. A unique retreat, fantastic for exploring local sites and nature watching. The studio features a queen sized bed, a full size futon, 3/4 bath, microwave, air fryer, hot plate, gas grill, incredible views and lots of quiet, access to a pond, hiking trails, a fire pit, and can visit the chickens.

We have designed our space to feel like your home away from home.The kitchenette includes a full refrigerator, microwave, slow cooker, Instapot, and a hot plate for meal prep. An easy stroll to Main Street will give your car a rest as you enjoy dining and shopping, live music from May/Oct and a wonderful Splash Park from May/Sept. Private guest patio with small gas grill. Dogs considered.

This garden apartment is tucked into a hillside above a creek, along the Jewel Vinsota Sculpture Trail. Your host/gallery curators live upstairs. The “Artist’s Guesthouse” is next door. The private entrance is down a stone-stepped path. Perfect for 2 w/ the queen bed but room for 3 w/ the living room futon. Fully equipped kitchen. Private charcoal grill and fire pit next to the creek.

Central to Gettysburg, Baltimore, and Washington, DC. It's rustic with all the benefits of upscale modern appliances and amenities, including a super automatic espresso coffee machine, down pillows and bedding, memory foam mattresses, dishwasher, and a washer and dryer. With every visit you will be welcomed with a free bottle of wine.

Colonial Era Spring House

A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.

Located in a beautiful and peaceful part of Maryland our Garden Cottage offers a cute and cozy getaway. A perfect escape from the city, our cottage is nestled among some of Maryland's best farmers markets, breweries, wineries, and outdoor experiences while still being conveniently located near several small towns and Frederick, MD. If you are looking for a quiet space with not super internet this is the place. Plenty of books to read, miniature donkeys to watch playing with their border collie pal and on a clear night - see some awesome stars!
