Day trips are easy to Stonehenge, Glastonbury Tor, Cheddar Gorge and Longleat. The house has a vintage-style throughout, including a hand-built kitchen. Upstairs is light and airy with elevated ceilings and original beams. A small outdoor seating area has been recently added.

Freshford is very well connected with a regular bus and train service into Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and London.
