The oldest residential house on the Island of San Giulio, situated in the middle of Lake Orta, distanced 400m from the mainland, accessible only via boat. The villa belongs to our family since 1637, completely refurbished whilst maintaining it's antique medieval charm, we hope you experience an unforgettable holiday in one of the most beautiful and romantic Italian lake locations. Enjoy swimming the clean waters, using our SUP, kayak & water sports equipment. A 40HP boat is available for rent.

Perfetto per una fuga dalla città e dalla frenesia della vita quotidiana, Il Borgo domina il Fiume Ticino e si trova ad un'ora di auto da Milano e a 15 minuti dall'aeroporto di Malpensa. Situata in posizione ideale per raggiungere il Lago Maggiore, il Lago di Comabbio e di Monate. Immerso nel Parco Naturale del Ticino, tutt'attorno una vegetazione lussureggiante in una tranquilla atmosfera di campagna. Spettacolare l'ampia terrazza dove rilassarsi, leggere un buon libro e godersi il tramonto.

A 10-minute drive from Sacro Monte (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and 40 minutes from Lago di Como, ideal destinations for walks, swims and bike rides. Well connected to the historic center of Varese: bus stop at 200mt. We have two dogs and a wolf: if you are afraid, please note that they run free around so it's impossible not to meet them.
