A luxurious and spacious cottage, in a secluded and peaceful location, perched on the seashore at Cashel Bay, Connemara, with direct access to the sea. 3 bedrooms, with optional add on of one bedroom annex. Sleeps 6 – 8. An ideal rural retreat for those seeking a peaceful holiday, while still only a short drive to local towns and villages. This is a wonderful cottage for families and groups of friends. Wi-fi available, multi-channel TV. This holiday cottage is finished to a very high standard.

Beautiful shepherds hut powered by solar for an off grid experience along the Wild Atlantic Way situated on Connemara farm land located 20 minutes from Galway city and 10 minutes from Oughterard and Lough Corrib. Sleeps 3 with a double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette with running water and gas hob, separate fire pit/BBQ area and outhouse with toilet, sink and heated shower. There is a small wood burning stove in the Shepherds hut with kindling provided. Towels and bedding are also provided.

The Castle rests on about half an acre of land with Ballindooley Lake lying to the south west. It is surrounded by low walls and hedges: with a gated entrance controlled by an electronic security system. Features include 3 murders holes and a dungeon The castle was built by the DeBurgo family (approximately 1480). It had the distinction of being shelled by the British Gunboat ” Helga” during the1916 Rising to disband rebels
