Away from the main house, It offers ample privacy. The loft bedroom (not childproof) can be reached via an easy-to-climb staircase. The KING SIZE bed ensures a restful night and is perfect for a lazy morning. Features include a kitchenette, electric fireplace, BBQ, outdoor fire pit (with wood), covered patio, and a smart TV. 😊

Charming Historic Barn Studio

Relax and unwind with an overnight stay at a historic 1863 barn on Mt. Hope Farm in Fairfield. The property is adjacent to Michaux State Forest, just a mile from Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve, and a short drive from Gettysburg and Liberty Mountain Resort, with easy access to hiking, mountain/road biking and minutes from skiing, golfing, stargazing, and local wineries. Farm fresh eggs included with every stay! Please note that guests over 6’ in height should be cautious due to low beams.

The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It has been completely redone and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with beautiful views. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Chill in The Crib! Easton, Maryland

Welcome to Maryland's Eastern Shore and your own private space in a converted corn crib, complete with the comforts of home. The space includes a vaulted ceiling, queen-sized Casper® mattress, quality linens, heat & AC, wireless Internet, a coffee counter, stocked bar fridge, full bath w/ shower (includes quality bath supplies), and a private entrance. Our space is permitted for ONLY TWO INDIVIDUALS (No children under 8 years of age.), and please limit your visit to one vehicle only.

This romantic getaway offers a history all its own. Welcome to our fully renovated and restored circa 1829 barn 2nd floor guest suite. Within walking/biking distance to Historic Newtown Borough and all of its unique boutique shops and restaurants. This cozy space offers 1 bedroom with a queen bed, efficiency kitchen, open floor plan living room, dedicated workspace and outdoor deck. Close to I-95 as well as the charming towns of New Hope, Lambertville, Doylestown and Princeton.

Historic Amish homestead Barn loft apartment

The Nicholas Stoltzfus Homestead is the oldest restored Amish property in Berks County, bought by Immigrant Nicholas Stoltzfus (ancestor of all Stoltzfus descendants in America) in 1771. You will be staying in a peaceful and cozy barn loft apartment with a private entrance beside the stone house. You can enjoy the flower gardens and birds as you sip a cup of coffee that was roasted on site. Adjacent to the property is the Union Canal Towpath on the Tulpehocken Creek.

Secluded barn on the ridge

Welcome to The Barn! Peacefully nestled in the woods on the top of a beautiful ridge. Located directly off of Rt. 35, and only a mile off of US 322, gets you to State College or Harrisburg in around 45 minutes. With plenty around to do, we are only 10 minutes from the nationally known, Port Royal Speedway. Close to state parks, ski resorts, fly fishing, hiking and kayaking. And local Amish produce and wineries just down the road!

Cozy up in the restored 1820s Miller's House!

The Miller's House is a quaint and beautiful, newly restored two-bedroom house that sits on a small river and is also a national historic landmark. The house has been painstakingly restored recently, with modern amenities you'd expect such as all-new appliances and high speed WiFi. Proximity to the Gunpowder Falls for fishing or tubing, the NCR trail (less than .2 mile away) and endless roads to bike on make it a great escape.

Colonial Era Spring House

A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.

The Red Barn Retreat

Welcome to The Red Barn Retreat! We are so excited for you to come visit our peaceful place. The barn was built in the early 1800’s and we completed its renovation in 2014 and an upgrade in 2020 to include air conditioning in the whole barn and new reclining leather couches. It is very special to our family and we hope it will be for you as well! It is a wonderful spot to relax and refresh and make lasting memories.

The Red Barn

The Red Barn is located in a very rural setting about 10 miles from Gettysburg. The Red Barn is approximately 1/2 mile off the main road and within a stone's throw of the Mason Dixon Line. If you are looking for a quiet space with not super internet this is the place. Plenty of books to read, miniature donkeys to watch playing with their border collie pal and on a clear night - see some awesome stars!
