When you're ready for some fun the cabin is located at the lake and next to the park. Take your family out in the 4 Kayaks, do some fishing, and so much more.

It includes private stairs to a private dock with room for 2 boats. Wildlife is abundant and you are just minutes from Raccoon Lake State Park.

While the cabin retains the charm of the 1800's, it also has been updated with basic amenities like electricity, indoor plumbing, hot water, and everything you would expect from a modern cabin. Located on Cataract Lake, yards from a public boat launch, this is the perfect spot to get out onto the lake or just relax amongst the trees. Boat parking is provided on the property.

The Tinkers Cabin is nestled in the heart of Parke County, known for its covered bridges and Turkey Run State Park. It features a lakefront view and direct access to Raccoon Lake, complete with a 30-foot seawall. We love swimming and boating in the summer, enjoying fall colors, and exploring the lakebed in the winter when the water is drained for capacity. In the evenings, you can gather around an outdoor bonfire or stream your favorite movies with free Wi-Fi and smart TV in this cozy cabin.

Eric’s Private Off Grid Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Off grid and private This is comfortable camping but no running water or electricity. There is a private privy for your comfort There is a large pond below the cabin with private stairs and a private dock. You may fish there “ catch and release only “. No swimming or boating for liability reasons. NOTE: this is a step above tent camping. It IS in the middle of the woods, we do our best to keep it cleaned. There may be dead bugs inside.

Captain Bill’s Lake House/seasonal swimming pool

Captain Bill’s Lake House. This majestic A-frame is at the entrance to the Cataract Lake boat ramp. The house will accommodate up to 7 guests, with three bedrooms and two full baths. All guests have full access to Captain Bill’s shared heated pool and surrounding gardens. Boat parking is provided on the property, inquire for details. Heated pool is seasonal beginning Mid May through September.
