Whole house is double glazed with 3 smart tvs. 50in 4k smart TV free unlimited wifi & Netflix in lounge. 2 bedrooms have 32 in smart tvs.. book 4 for 2 bedrooms! Or use sofa couch.

Just metres from the lake edge & less than 3km from the town centre, this sunny iconic renovated 1970's apt is the perfect place for a bit of R&R, or make the most of all the outdoor adventure that Taupo has to offer then come home & relax in the private thermal plunge pool. A swim in the lake is just a skip across the road. Soak up the afternoon sun whilst taking in the amazing 180 degree views of the lake & mountains from the comfort of the living room or the private courtyard and balcony.

Forget your worries in this spacious & serene space. Redwood Lake house has been established for the McMillan family to have time out from the busy world, a place to loose ourselves for a few days of R & R. We the family wish to share this piece of paradise with its unique setting with the wider world. You could choose to leave social media & the like at home. We have games, walks, kayaks for the lake (2 minutes walk). Time to just sit & read in the sun, inside or out. Enjoy. Relax. Refresh

Cottage Lane close to Town

A private entrance leads upstairs to a light airy and sunny bedroom and ensuite. Views of the lake from the front window. Parking right outside the door, walk 750meters to town to enjoy breakfast at one of the many cafes. Ski slopes are just over an hour away. Fridge, kettle, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, crockery, cutlery,wine glasses, chopping board and sharp knife . Iron and ironing board. Beach towels for a dip in the lake. Washing machine and dryer on site.

"The End of the Road"

The bach is well equipped, but GUESTS MUST SUPPLY OWN LINEN (sheets, pillow slips & towels), and CLEAN it before leaving. It is a fisherman's bach at the end of a quiet street. Lake Taupo is a 10 minute walk and the Tauranga Taupo River nearby. We have plenty of duvets and blankets. NO WIFI. If you are unable to clean the house before you leave or supply your own linen it's better if you find a motel or hotel nearby. We keep the price lower by not having a cleaning fee.

Whether you are staying for a few nights to explore Lake Taupo or passing through on business or perhaps after a tranquil place for that much needed rest and relaxation, Treetops Retreat can cater for it all. Leave the car at the property as your accommodation is located centrally and a short stroll away to Taupo's best restaurants, bars and events and of course the lake.

Newly built with wonderful outdoor spaces and off street parking. Fully fenced so can bring along a fur baby. A fabulous local bar and restaurant, hairdresser and takeaway shop within walking distance as is the lake. Peaceful area with glimpses of the mountains and lake. A 5 minute drive from the town centre. Easy access to all the highways from its central location. Additional guests have access to a roll out sofa bed.

Sorry there is no wifi or broadband available. 5G tower nearby.
