Carr Cottage is a characterful 19th century mill workers' dwelling situated in the heart of the Pennines in the beautiful Luddenden Valley with a multitude of walks and footpaths. Close to Halifax and its historic Piece Hall or Hebden Bridge with its vibrant arts and crafts scene. We are dog friendly with excellent walks for dogs and their people. Dogs must not be left unattended on the during your stay. Carr Cottage is cycle friendly with classic road or off road routes right rom the doorstep.

Built in 1890 & designed by Edward Wainhouse, of Wainhouse Tower; we have 2 comfy double beds, are stylishly decorated & fully kitted out with everything you need for a short break. Welcome to our Yorkshire home where you will have sole use of our recently refurbished dog friendly flat. Comfortably sleeps 2. A travel cot or cot bed, and high chair provided on request. Enter through utility room, to neat kitchen with full range of amenities. Spacious lounge, with TV, Sky Q box and Wi-Fi. Well equipped bedroom, with king sized bed. En suite bathroom with large spa bath, and shower. Secure back garden, with heating, BBQ, lighting and seating, shared with main house.

We converted the Old Piggery over 20 years ago, and have recently done a full refurbishment. It now has a cosy snug with a sofa as well as a lounge with far-reaching views. There is an ensuite bathroom and downstairs, a shower and toilet. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with a king-sized, chunky farmhouse bed with an extremely comfortable mattress. The lounge area has a Laura Ashley sofa and snuggle chair positioned to take in a far-reaching views or a 43 inch TV if you prefer!

Close to Hebden Bridge and Heptonstall, there are beautiful walks and cycle rides from the doorstep, which is 800m from the Pennine Bridleway. There is a wood burning stove (we provide a starter pack of logs) and well-behaved dogs are welcome. A king-sized bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge make this the perfect venue for couples, friends or parents and child!

Once at the top of the stone steps leading to the entrance to the property, you will be instantly immersed into the unique en-suite 'secret garden', offering sole use of a private space boasting beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
