Sandra and Rob are always really kind, thoughtful and helpful hosts and it is a pleasure to stay with them.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the hut. Fiona was a really great host who came out to us even though it was late and raining! The hut was super warm on arrival and it has an internal heater and towel rail which is nice. It was also nice to be welcomed with some baked goods which we enjoyed the next morning. The bed was super comfy and we slept really well. The hot tub was nice to relax in… you get all the stuff provided for it which is good and on previous experiences this isn’t always the case. We used the Fire pit and you get some cushions to use which are under the bed and extra blankets which again is really nice. It’s exceptionally well thought out and the lord of added extras make it really nice. Would deffo return

We loved our stay in elderberry pod it is beautiful & the detail that’s gone into it I’d certainly say it’s made with love. Only negative we had was we was not informed the cafe, the shop & activities were not on due to being New Year’s Eve. I appreciate everyone requires time off but we would like to have known that as we may have brought activities with us. Other than that we would love to book again & it was a beautiful place couldn’t fault anything other than not letting us know what was not in use whilst we were there. Thanks again

This was a gorgeous place to escape. The space was beautiful, clean, well taken care of and provided everything I needed. The location was stunning, It was peaceful and beautiful, and even though it’s on the owners’ property, Extremely private and I felt quite isolated. Friendly and helpful hosts as well. Already thinking about booking myself another weekend away!

We were looking for a holiday close to home, as we live off the M5 and Easter traffic can be gnarly we didn't want to travel too far. The caravan was clean and the site had a clean pool and a pub/restaurant plus close by to Dunster Castle which we love, and some beaches and pretty villages.

Great place to stay, had a lovely weekend with our 4 year old. Longleat 10 minutes away perfect location. Lovely host, plenty of information for us to make the most of our stay. Would happily stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay for the Bank holiday weekend at this beautiful cabin. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept so soundly. It was so wonderful to wake up in the morning and open all the windows, so we could sit in bed and take in the beautiful views. David and Jill were so friendly and hospitable — we will definitely be back!

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

Super clean shepherd's hut in a lovely countryside location where you can watch plenty of wildlife and the pet ducks in the stream. The build quality of the shepherd's hut is very impressive, with double glazing and plenty of heating. Clive is a very good host and responds very quickly to any messages. We will definitely be back at some stage.

Jenny was a great host! The Cabin was spotless on arrival! Very cosy and well equipped... As previous guests had noted the bed is super comfy!! The outside area for dogs is brilliant. Definitely recommend the Culm Valley Inn! Fantastic atmosphere - delicious home cooked food - 15 min walk. Strand Stores serve an incredible breakfast and sell high quality local produce! We also enjoyed a nice day out at Sidmouth beach..

What can I say?! Just amazing. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Fantastic host. Every little detail thought of and such a high standard. Loved everything about this stay. Will definitely recommend and more importantly definitely be back. Thank you so much Lou, it is simply perfect.

We had a wonderful night away here! Such a beautiful garden and surroundings. The shed had all you need for glamping and was a perfect spot to relax and pause for a moment. Would love to come back here again :)

Fantastic place, Great location and wonderful host.

Axe Valley View is a wonderful cabin in a picturesque and peaceful location - we were looking for somewhere to relax and we found it!! The cabin is equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay Alison, our host, was very welcoming and gave us good suggestions about local places to visit, and she recommended 2 excellent restaurants (the Tytherington Arms and the Anchor Inn at Seatown - both worth a visit)

We had a lovely stay, beautiful place and location. Had everything we needed and more (little toys left for our children to play with, and fans due to hot weather). We felt very comfortable. Suzanne always easy to contact and very helpful. We absolutely loved it, have already recommended and would love to return. Thank you!

100% recommend staying here. The pictures are exactly what it’s like in person and more! The attention to detail was amazing, everything you need for your stay is there. They even had hot chocolate and marshmallows for a cosy night around the fire-pit. Communication with the host was very formative, clear and in timely manner. We would definitely return as it is the perfect relaxing getaway but also walks/restaurants close. Thankyou so much!

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

What an amazing place to stay - the pods were beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need - so peaceful waking to deer,ducks and kestrel. Stunning sunrise. Hosts had good communication and so friendly would definitely return - thank you Lynda and Steve

Not my first time staying here and not the last. We always enjoy our stay and Sally always goes out of her way to make the stay comfortable and is flexible. Everything is as described. Beautiful location, very peaceful. Lovely lawn area and Sally provides picnic blanket and even a blanket for the colder nights if you still want to enjoy the outside. See you again soon.

We had a wonderful stay- the hut is gorgeous, clean and very well looked after. Antony is an awesome host and provided loads of recommendations and support. He also provided us with fresh baked bread, scones and homemade rhubarb g&ts for our stay, his hospitality is 10/10. We live nearby so we did not bring a car, it is tricky to get around as Ubers are pricey in the area, but I imagine this wouldn’t be a major issue for many of you bring a car with you. Overall, this was an incredible little gem and we loved our stay and we’d happily come back again!

Second visit this year💗 This place well and truly has my heart. I’ve never been anywhere in my life that I have felt so peaceful then this place (and I have travelled to so many beautiful countries). Dreamview Shepherd Hut are absolutely breathtaking, I could not recommend them enough. If your contemplating booking, don’t think just book it you won’t be disappointed. Melanie has thought of every little detail you could possibly need. I love this place so much, from sitting in the hot tub watching the stars to laying in bed with the cosy fire lit. I don’t ever want to leave this place. Please keep these huts forever!💗 Thank you so much Melanie and family - you have truly out done yourselves with this venue. Amazing views in a beautiful location. Audrey was friendly and helpful and had a lot of knowledge of Wick Farm which was interesting as we were going to a wedding there on the Friday. It was a treat to have cereal and croissants with a pint of milk in the fridge, there was also plenty of tea and coffee. A lovely bunch of flowers by the window too. The little touches have a huge impact. Thank you Audrey 😊

My family and I had the most perfect, peaceful getaway. On arrival, we were amazed at how private Yonder View is and loved being surrounded by nature. Emellia greeted us to show us the hot tub, which was a delight in the evenings watching the stars. The cows in the adjacent fields were adorable and the fully secured garden meant our stay was relaxing knowing the dogs wouldn't escape and chase cows or roll in poop! The woodland next door was so convenient for a dog walk and for our boy to play on the slide and his favourite log swing. The attention to detail was welcoming; flapjacks, dog treats, towels, toys, books, shampoo etc. Nearby was a pub called the Globe Inn where there was a sunny beer garden and good pub food. We hope to be back!
