Off-grid living, high in the Shropshire Hills

The Garden Room is a private, cosy, off-grid apartment that's perfect for couples in search of a quiet break or looking to explore the area. It has basic kitchen facilities along with a king size bed, a wood burning stove and a piping hot shower. We have reliable wifi, no tv and an ok mobile signal. Lovely up here this time of year and plenty of wildlife to be seen; deer in the garden, swallows zooming about, the other morning I saw two hares leaping and sparring in the front yard - just great.

Originating in 1340, this cosy 1-bed Townhouse is on the river Severn , in the loop of the town and a short walk to the station and theatre. There’s a gorgeous garden with gazebo and a deck overlooking the river. Cellar for bike storage (care, uneven steps). Getting around we would suggest you have a car or bike as there is no public transport or cabs. Please note we are a working farm so you will see and hear tractors during your stay. Our family are also keen equestrians so you will also see horses. There is also a Glamping Cabin in the field so you may see other guests during your stay.

Shrewsbury Town Centre Guesthouse

There are no shared spaces. The accommodation is in a separate building from the main guest house. The Attic is cosy yet very spacious accommodation. Set just off Abbey Foregate. 5 minutes walk to the Abbey, English Bridge and Wyle Cop. 8 minute walk to Train Station, the Castle and Prison. Access to River Severn walks and the weir just 2 minutes away through the lovely Castlefields Park directly opposite. We can provide contactless entry and exit to suit.
