You have 60 feet of lake front with two docks to bring your lake toys or rent a pontoon for the day/weekend or week. Full size kitchen, washer and dryer, two big smart tv's with cable and wifi. There are two bicycles available for exploring the surrounding countryside as well as a canoe, 3 kayaks, and paddle boat to use on the water. Shipshewana is a quick 15-mile drive away through beautiful Amish countryside.

Soak your cares away in the cast iron claw foot tub or relax on the patio watching the neighbors horses run. Bicycles are available for a stroll through back country roads. Play games around the kitchen table. Take a trip into town for fresh baked Amish goods, a traditional Amish dinner or shopping. At night you can grab a blanket and lay under the stars.

Charming Lake Cottage 40 minutes to Notre Dame

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. We invite you to come enjoy sunrises over the lake and sunsets across the field. This is a great option for Notre Dame home games as the cottage is only 40 minutes from ND. It is also a short 15 minutes from Shipshewana and all the attractions there (The MEC, Bluegate, and the flea market). The sweet town of Middlebury is also just 10 minutes away which is where you can find the Das Dutchman EssenHaus and other Amish attractions.

The property is located across the street from the lake, it includes lake access and a shared pier. Visit Shipshewana and enjoy all this quaint small town has to offer.

Huge open concept with plenty of light. Take a .23 mile walk to our private beach, lounge by the pier, or rent a boat and head to the best sand bar in the Midwest. Lake Wawasee is the largest natural lake in Indiana. It offers great skiing and fishing, 3 restaurants you can enjoy by boat and the best sunrise/sunset boat cruises you can imagine. The house is only 5 minutes from either Syracuse or North Webster to check out the local shopping boutiques and farmers markets.

Hook, Wine and Sinker

You will be staying in the middle of Amish country and love the easy access to all the shops, food, tourism, and all that Shipshewana has to offer. You will be within walking distance to the Pumpkin Vine Nature Trail with miles of trails for biking or walking. This cozy cottage has access to Ship Lake which is great for fishing. The living room and dining room are very spacious, open concept and an awesome place to hang out with family and friends.

This charming, semi-private cottage, set in a quiet country location is perfect for your next getaway. Small kitchenette with sink, fridge and microwave provides you with kitchen basics. PLEASE NOTE: there is no stove/oven in this room. Bathroom is equipped with all the necessities plus extras like a two person shower with rain fall shower head. Outside is a 2-3 person hot tub along with a beautiful pergola with string lights and adirondack chairs.
