A cosy industrial-inspired cottage on the edge of the Lake District National Park, nestled in the picturesque Eden Valley. Designed for comfort and convenience, our space features a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Starlink WiFi, an EV charge point, and luxurious Simba memory foam beds. Unwind in the roll-top copper bathtub, elegantly set upon a mezzanine platform. We are located in a peaceful village, so ask guests to be mindful of noise. We are not suitable for loud parties or celebrations.

It provides a unique location for walking, honeymoons, or romantic getaways and is perfect for that special anniversary, birthday or simply for those just wanting to relax. Located next to the owners’ home, but still maintaining solitude and privacy, the cottage is surrounded by open fields and is a haven for wildlife.

Superbly located in the centre of Shap, A stone’s throw from the award winning Shap Chippy, within walking distance of the King’s Arms and The Crown pubs. A local Co-Operative shop is directly opposite the property. This house is ideal as base to explore the Northern Lakes and the historic city of Carlisle There are plenty of visitor attractions within commuting distance, Lowther castle is only a short drive Off road parking for 2 vehicles, ample free on street car parking right outside.

Original timber beams and comfy leather sofas in front of a glorious wood burner. A brand new state-of-the-art kitchen and a king size bed when it’s time to turn in for the night. Everything you could want from a Lake District hideaway.

Shap Fell Bothy, Cumbria. A unique adventure!!!

A beautifully unique building in the eastern Lake District. The Bothy is fully off-grid so naturally facilities are basic. The Bothy has a way of slowing life down. Over 2 floors; downstairs a cosy living area with woodburner & cooking facilities, upstairs a cosy sleeping area with view of the night sky. Dogs are welcome & it sleeps max 6. The Bothy is fabulously fun! We love getting back to basics, with some wildly wonderful indoor camping! Come have an adventure and make some memories!

Bousfield Barn a 'stunning place to stay'

This recently renovated barn is in a country setting a mile from Orton village in the Westmorland Dales bordering the Lake District National park. Approx 5 minutes from J38 &39 of M6, in easy reach of Orton village’s amenities of pub, cafe, shop, chocolate factory and local farm shop. Ideal as base a for exploring the local area or a stopover en-route to & from the north. Dogs welcome with enclosed garden and walks from the doorstep. Adjoins The Smithy to accommodate upto 9 guests

Cosy countryside barn retreat near Lake District

Tucked away in the peaceful hamlet of Reagill near Shap, Sycamore Barn is the perfect base for exploring the Lake District, Eden Valley and Yorkshire Dales. Set beside a working dairy farm, you’ll often see cows, sheep and the farmer’s horses grazing in the surrounding fields, along with resident bunnies and, if you’re lucky, even a red squirrel. After a day exploring, relax by the log burner and enjoy the peace and quiet. A peaceful base for adventure or simply switching off.

The Mill, Rutter Falls,

Comfortable converted watermill sleeping one or two couples, overlooking a spectacular waterfall, in the tranquil Eden Valley, between Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The deep pool below the falls is ideal for cold-water swimming. Perfect for a romantic getaway, or watching abundant birds and wildlife, for honeymoons, anniversaries or engagements! You won't find accommodation closer to rushing water than this! No under 12s. Check in Fridays and Mondays only.

Tethera, Amma Barn

Tethera (Cumbrian for 3) is one of 3 brand new apartments in the newly renovated Cumbrian Bank Barn, 'Amma Barn'. This cozy yet spacious bed-sit comfortably sleeps two people and is perfect for a short get away to enjoy the quieter side of the English Lake district, the Westmorland Dales or the Eden Valley. Tethera has a warm and inviting open-plan space with a sofa, wall-mounted TV, King size bed and kitchenette as well as an en-suite with large walk in shower.

Recently refurbished first floor serviced apartment comprising of 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a double sofa bed. Full kitchen and bathroom. The apartment is accessed by a flight of stairs. A baby gate is provided which can be used to limit access to areas of the apartment, but guests with small children should consider this when booking. Situated on the coast to coast route, Shap has many amenities and is a fantastic base to explore the lakes.

A stunningly romantic retreat for couples who enjoy staying in boutique accommodation. Set within the heart of the Lake District National Park, we're in a peaceful location but with easy access to hills, lakes and views. Please note that this is just for one couple and our property is not suitable for babies or children (but dogs are welcome!).
