The Pines Treehouse is nestled underneath a huge oak tree sitting high above the running water of Sand Beck. Nature cocoons you and you can reach out and touch the trees, see wildlife all around you amongst the pines. With breathtaking views through the tress and across the valley you are completely private having no other accommodation on the site making this a truly unique and special experience. A great effort has gone into creating this space to allow you to simply relax and reset in nature.

The property provides the perfect setting for families and friends gathering for special occasions or holidays in beautiful North Yorkshire. The property boasts 6 kingsize bedrooms equipped with 6 full ensuite bathrooms. A further 7th bathroom is located on the ground floor. There are 3 large reception rooms, 2 open log fires, and approximately 1/2 an acre of gardens. There is private parking for 8 vehicles.

Haven Cottage is a self contained detached 2 bed stone cottage in rural Cotherstone near Barnard Castle. You have exclusive use. Set on a quiet lane, the converted stable overlooks open meadows. Outside is a patio garden & furniture. Enter via a double height dining hall, to an open plan kitchen and living room, traditionally furnished with exposed beams and deep window recesses. Downstairs is a large bathroom (bath & walk in power shower). Upstairs two large bedrooms with reading chairs.

It’s 15-20 min drive to Barnard Castle, 20 min to Reeth and a 30 min to Richmond, North Yorkshire. With two double bedrooms it is a cosy retreat to unwind in.

Ideal for visiting historic Raby Castle, Auckland Palace and Durham City and the wilds of upper Teesdale and the Yorkshire dales.

The Lake House

The detached Lake House is set in 11 acres. Ravensworth is an enchanting village with many of the houses dating from the 17th century. The village is defined by its green, and ancient ruined castle, only a few miles from the pretty towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle . A village pub and two wonderful farm shop cafes within walking distance. The Lake House has uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding woodland. The Lake House can also be booked together with Willow Cottage.

Located 10 miles from Richmond and 5 miles from Barnard Castle. Durham, York, Newcastle and the Lake District are approximately each an hours drive away.

Low Green Barn, located in Tranquil Teesdale

Low Green Barn is a converted barn, attached to our family home and located in the middle of the village of Mickleton. Before booking, please bear in mind we offer limited cooking facilities, with no oven or grill. We can provide you with local recommendations for eating out. Driveway parking is shared with owners and can accommodate one guest vehicle. Owners Tessa and Dave live in the adjoining main farmhouse and are available via text/in person if needed.
