Take it easy at this unique and tranquil log cabin hand built by my grandfather and father from cypress trees pulled straight out of the Louisiana swamps. Escape the city & enjoy the serenity of the country life. Located 15 minutes from Monticello and 25 minutes from Brookhaven. Dollar General located 3 miles away & a country store with fuel 1.5 miles away. This fully furnished 2/1 currently has 1 full size & 1 queen size bed and 5’ shower(not a full tub). Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE ONLY!

The Haven is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature or have a good time with friends. Our 5 bedroom home sits on 45 acres of woodland with a 12 foot inground salt water pool. Unwind on the deck. Hike the trails into the forest and down to the creek. Play pool, air hockey, or ping pong in our balcony game room. Hang out in the pool or in the great room which has 3 couches, 2 recliners, and lots of space to spread out. And leave feeling refreshed and ready to get back to life.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. This is an all-in-one tiny house!!! Perfect if you only need a place to sleep, shower and you do not mind eating out. There is a small fridge and microwave in the Nook. Close to shopping and restaurants. The Nook offers a twin-sized Murphy bed.
