Beautifully decorated and spacious home in a charming, Alexandria neighborhood near the King Street metro and the shops and restaurants of Old Town. Just a 16 minute drive to downtown Washington DC, with a chef's kitchen and a relaxing great room. The house is also just a 10 minute drive to the new MGM Casino or the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center at National Harbor. The "no parties in house" rule is strictly followed. If you want to have a party or an event, this is not the place for you.

Secluded wooded setting with pond view, less than 1,000 feet from main house and only 5 miles from downtown Culpeper with it's fine dining and quaint shops. For traveling medical personnel, Mary Washington Hospital is less than 4 miles away. Our area is rich in Civil War history with lots of great places to dine, shop, or catch a Fredericksburg National game at the ballpark. Close to I95 for a trip to Washington, DC (60 mi) or south to Richmond. Kitchenette but no stove. Microwave.

Open the garage door in the living area and step out on the 300 square foot screened in porch where you can relax at the firepit under the covered roof. On the porch at Hidden Haven, we like to say, "time wasted is time well spent". The romantic vibe and modern amenities make it a prefect place for a couple's getaway.

The Alton Cottage -a luxury country retreat

The Alton Cottage is a charming, newly refurbished 1820s guest house- formerly a summer kitchen to the original farm house. Views are of rolling fields and their bovine occupants. We are within 30 minutes of almost 20 wineries and another 20 breweries, 5 min to Airlie, and only 5 mi to Old Town Warrenton. We are also close to several antique stores, farmers markets and Shenandoah National Park. We strive to make every guests stay special.

The Riverbunk is located on the Rappahannock River in Colonial Beach, Virginia. The scenic River is home to Eagles, ospreys and great blue herons. The river offers the perfect kayaking experience and for boaters, a boat launch is within walking distance. Fishing, hunting, hiking and sightseeing are popular in this area. We are 420-friendly where smoking is allowed outside. The rural area is perfect for quiet downtime and fun activities.
