A Country Escape

A beautiful large lounge with 65" smart tv, refrigerator, microwave oven and lovely garden views. The bright and spacious bedroom is compete with a superking bed and 50" TV. There is an en suite toilet & shower, complete with a spacious walk in wardrobe. Our property is located in a quiet countryside position but close to the M58. Liverpool Manchester Preston Southport all within easy reach. We are within walking distance to Ormskirk hospital & Edge Hill University. Also easy countryside walks.

Beautiful country cottage in a picturesque location with charming views situated on a public footpath leading to some of the best country walks within the North West. Blackbirds Cottage is a detached spacious two bedroom both en-suite holiday home situated in the heart of Douglas valley, within a ten minute walk to the idyllic village of Parbold which has three country pubs, a wine bar and cafe. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife you’ll be sure of a relaxed, private and peaceful stay.

The Hay Barn

Countryside barn retreat

This charming barn is the perfect place to relax and unwind, with its peaceful location and beautiful surroundings. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with two bedrooms, a living room with a fire, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. There is also free parking secured by an electric gate, a 49” Samsung Smart TV, free WiFi, and a gated garden area. It’s also located next to a golf course, a short walk from the local pub, a short drive from a Tesco and Starbucks.

Cosy accommodation at farmhouse in Dalton, Parbold

The cosy guest suite includes a living room with TV, leather sofa and armchair, small dining table and 2 chairs. There is a compact kitchen area equipped with combination oven/microwave, hob, fridge and all essential crockery and cookware. The bedroom has an oak framed king size bed with matching bedside tables and is furnished with pine furniture, curtains and a blind. The shower room is spacious and is en suite to the bedroom. There is gas central heating and blinds to most of the windows.

The Annexe

The Annexe is a self contained property directly opposite our family home. All fixtures and fittings have been thoughtfully planned to ensure you have a comfortable stay. There is one large double bedroom with a luxurious king size bed, an open plan living area with a smart TV, log burner for cozy nights and electric heating. The bathroom has a large walk in electric shower. The property is suitable for up to two adults (not suitable for children/toddler’s due to the large pond nearby).

1750's cottage with open fire and beams

Take it easy at this unique and cosy cottage with a real open fire and original beams. The cottage was constructed in approximately 1750 during the reign of George II. The cottage is constructed from wood and stone and there is not a straight wall, ceiling or door casing in the house! You learn very fast (after banging your head once or twice) to duck under the low door frames and beams. The cottage is small, quirky and very cosy but with a suprisingly large master bedroom and bathroom.

Spacious rustic property with the countryside on your doorstep but within a 10 minute walk into Ormskirk town centre. Easily accessible transport routes into Liverpool, Manchester and Southport. This traditional property boasts a private entrance and private parking space for guests. Enjoy your own log burner in the living room or nip outside to your private courtyard to sit by the fire pit. Enjoy countryside views from your bedroom. Perfect proximity for Edge Hill university.

The Stables

We would love to welcome you to 'The Stables' at Parsons Brow Farm. A semi rural spacious barn conversion with scenic views, private access & parking. Ideally situated for walks & cycling routes, 5 minutes walk to the village. There is a double bedroom, small kitchen with tea/coffee facilities, a microwave & fridge, bathroom and living room/Bar with a sofa bed, a private small garden including outside seating. Dogs are welcome but we just ask that they are not left unattended.

The Lodge at Barrow Bridge

This cabin offers a peaceful and relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Perfect for those seeking relaxation, adventure, or simply a well earned break. There are a handful of surrounding forest walks and picturesque bike routes, as well as being a perfect location to explore the West Pennine Moors and Winter Hill. Located 15 miles from Manchester city centre. Simply step outside onto a private deck, where you’ll find your own bubbling hot tub.
