50-Acre Farmhouse Getaway Oasis in VA Wine Country

Just 1 hour from Washington DC, the spacious and tranquil Farmhouse at Dogwood Pond resides on 50 acres of land, and includes a large pond equipped for fishing. Our guests enjoy the nearby Purcellville Historic District for quality restaurants and cafes, vintage shopping, and the W&OD trail entrance at the old Purcellville train station. The property is also a swift 20 minute drive to historic downtown Leesburg, Waterford, Harper's Ferry, and endless wineries, breweries, hiking and bike trails.

This historic cottage was built in the late 1800s and functioned as an art studio for a famous painter. Large windows allow ample light. It has been totally renovated with a full kitchen (no dishwasher), bathroom, bedroom and family room with wood stove. The Hidden Hive is located on beautiful, tranquil farmland, within a few minutes of Loudoun County’s premiere wineries and breweries. Rest your head here after a hard day’s hike on the Appalachian Trail or a celebratory evening at a Bluemont wedding. We are a hobby farm and own chickens, goats, dogs, and barn kitties. Wildlife such as deer can be seen, and owls heard here at night. You may see cyclists or horseback riders pass along our historic Civil War roads. We can’t wait to host you!

Less than 5 miles from vineyards, LOCO ale trail breweries, cideries, WO&D bike trail & 20 min to historic Leesburg, the Shenandoah river & Appalachian Trail. Our tiny house is a bit larger w/ 2 bedrooms, full kitchen & bath, family room & cozy front porch with private parking. Enjoy a remote work getaway, (our broadband is about 8-10Mbps) relax & enjoy LOCO living!

Blueridge Mountain Retreat Apartment

The hot tub is currently broken, and a new one has been ordered. We expect delivery by mid Febuary. In the middle of VA wine country and only minutes from the Appalachian Trail, enjoy a private apartment in our mountain home with a separate entrance and your own deck with views of the Shenandoah Valley. There is a hot tub on the deck and a fire pit overlooking the valley. Plenty of wildlife. A welcome basket includes breakfast items.
