The Garden Room is a private, cosy, off-grid apartment that's perfect for couples in search of a quiet break or looking to explore the area. It has basic kitchen facilities along with a king size bed, a wood burning stove and a piping hot shower. We have reliable wifi, no tv and an ok mobile signal. Lovely up here this time of year and plenty of wildlife to be seen; deer in the garden, swallows zooming about, the other morning I saw two hares leaping and sparring in the front yard - just great.

Renovated to a high standard, this former store barn is on the edge of Shropshire AONB, by the Welsh border. In the Hills is a self-catering cottage nestled against Corndon Hill in the pretty hamlet of Priest Weston with a friendly pub. For up to 4 guests, the cottage is superbly equipped and provides peace and tranquility in stunning countryside. The upstairs living area has panoramic views down the valley. Private garden. Perfect base for walking, cycling or visiting nearby historic towns.

The Balloon Loft is set on the Welsh Border with stunning views of the Shropshire hills. The map shows the accommodation to be in Montgomery but it is about two miles from Bishops Castle. The Long Mynd, The Stiperstones and Offas Dyke path are all within 20 minutes drive of the loft and all offer wonderful views of Shropshire & Powys - perfect for a walking holiday. The accommodation is very rural but easily accessible and apart from the sheep or cattle the area is quiet and peaceful.
